You guys are bluffing. You're just getting this stuff from the NFL recordings on iTunes Music Store. There's no way you could be enough of a fanatic to actually remember that stuff... is there?
It isn't all or nothing. Dell is the only Windows manufacturer than manages to turn a profit. They have enough muscle to tell Microsoft they are going to offer other OSes whether Microsoft likes it or not. What is Microsoft going to do? Rely on Gateway?
That's a myth. Market share isn't a problem for Apache.
Plus, you're at least partially right. Without a homogeneous environment viruses spread much more slowly. Which automatically gives a bonus to devices with smaller market shares regardless of how vulnerable or impregnable they are.
The much-touted features Spotlight and Dashboard may end up just another layer of eye candy, further moving Apple away from its halcyon days of interface design based on good science, rather than style.
What is this guy thinking? Spotlight has very, very little to do with eye candy. The only way you can associate it with eye candy is the way it was implemented in System Preferences where search result icons are highlighted with a quite literal spotlight. Other than that it does the vast majority of its work behind the scenes. And where it does have a GUI, it is a straight-forward interface that is based on science and lets user find files and documents in a fraction of the time it would normally take.
Mini doesn't modify Cooper. Cooper modifies Mini. The car is a Mini. And Cooper is a version of the Mini. So, if they set the precedent, this would be called the Google Cooper and it'd cost more than the $32,000 appliance.
Have you ever seen microsoft.com, msdn.com, msn.com get slashdotted, or even slow down in the slightest?...OS/X sucks, and people who own Macintoshes are ugly losers...
Why do you think Apple used Win2003 at MacExpo, instead of plugging in a couple of their magical little OS/X based servers?
Obviously someone at Apple decided Win2003 was a better tool for the job.
Microsoft.com only gets brought to its knees by virus-infected zombie computers because no person cares when Microsoft announces something new. Apple.com was slowed down by humans beings requesting information from it and store.apple.com was unable to cope with the demand of people trying to buy Apple's products.
And Macworld isn't run by Apple (it's by IDG), so Apple doesn't have any say in what server macworld.com runs on. Obviously, IDG made a wrong decision when designing their web server system. I'll leave it up to them to decide what it was.
The odd thing about this is that the new notebooks weren't released on a Tuesday.
Isn't Nintendo talking about interfaces more than graphics?

Especially once Zeus & Ra show up.
This is true. However, I'd say that Virtual Football 2006 will look almost indistinguishable from live football on SDTV.
Intentionally leaking false specs is illegal.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but using the courts is government interference.
No, the Power Macintosh G4 Cube worked without a fan. It used a 500Mhz PowerPC 7400.
I don't know. My Power Mac G5 Dual 2Ghz is pretty quite most of the time.

Dell is at fault because they pre-load Windows. They do have other options.
Buy a Mac.
I'll take that bet since MS has already said that feature won't be a part of Longhorn.
:)
Plus, BFS predates MS and Apple's implementations by years. Luckily, Apple hired the guy that designed BFS (Dominic Giampaolo).

You can replace the one-button mouse with whatever 3-button scroll wheel mouse you want, and OS X will be able to use it. It is not "welded on."
Right, it's cheaper and easier for MS to limit WinXPSE to 800x600 resolution.
Having a black mouse pointer helps. You can change this in your Mouse Control Panel on Windows. Macintoshes use a black pointer by default.
All of this is why Apple ships computers with one-button mouses.

Steve was so unlucky on that one. The one product he pre-announces turns out to be vaporware.
Speech interfaces are just invisible command lines.
