Here here! The idea of a major corp. distributing peer-to-peer encrpytion is somewhat odd in the Age of Ashcroft. I'd trust AOL's closed-source AIM solution about as much as the integrated "file encryption" that is in 2000 and in XP. Otherwise, AOL would find themselves under scrutiny for letting "terrorists" use AOL's software to share video clips of Ashcroft trying to dance at the Prom.
If the rumor is alleging the "G5" will be released this June 23rd, then I'll quite amazed, because AFAIK, IBM hasn't even started fabbing PPC970's in marketable quantities.
I'd like to see some Russian firms do designing for IT products. Remember the mirror they tried to setup in orbit? The whole stereotype during the Cold War was that the Russians used ingenuity to design their military hardware, while the US focused on electronics.
Or you could just make some kind of jewelry with the ignots, and tell them you're wearing all the "infringing material" on the fringes of your neck. And they won't know WTF you're talking about. And just stand there, laughing at them.
The RIAA is filing this lawsuit against Morpheus because they're still mad they lost to a P2P company in court. If they found out that the Clinton Library bought 1,000 CD's, put them in FLAC on some kind of jukebox storage system, they woudln't sue. They're suing Morpheus because they know Morpheous will look guilty in court, being a "dubious p2p Co." and all. It's just like trying to can the neighborhood script kiddie for port scanning xxx.xxx.xxx.34 when he really meant to scan xxx.xxx.xxx.35, but didn't quite make it.
..which really doesn't take that long when you've got 2-3 i686's linked together via distcc. OpenOffice is, of course, the gluntenous exception. Heck, there's even a distcc build for my Zaurus.
Well, other than the fact that IBM is a key ball player in the Corporate Linux market. By any means, IBM releases more Open Source code than Apple does.
Billy the Purple Ape thanks you for your kind donation of 3 pairs of testicles. He will be "trying out" each pair. Who knows, he may wire up all three pairs.

I've already got cancer, you insensitive clod!
But without the institutionalizing of fear, how else can Herr Asscrotch impliment a police state, ala 1984?

Jobs says, "My friend, you'll need all the lead to protect your "self" from the 1.1 Jiggawat micro-fusion cell."

I read the title, and thought 'unloved floppies' == 'lonely 40-yr old woman'.

Somehow I get the funny feeling that the same people who write press releases for the BSA also do the news for the PRC's "People's Daily".
That's it! Retailiate! Don't let that f00 who just pegged you with a tomato during lunch get away with it.
Get a job if you feel the need to "justify your existance".

The only Linux PDA to date that has a USB Host Controller is the IBM E-Lap reference design. And it's not available yet :(
Pitty I lost my job at that ISP. They had a 45mbit line. Oh, how I wish I could aim that at SCO. Now I'm stuck with residential cable.

an IBM lawyer named "General Veers" say, "Maximum Firepower!" on counter-suing SCO.
It appears to me the moderators are too busy giving/getting head to RTFA.
You silly goose! ;)
You forgot to include 'goose' in that statement.
No, just the people who couldn't afford a leaf blower after shelling out for their 5800FX.
