And I always marvel at the closed-source "advocates" that try to throw the book at the poor people who fail to comply with every aspect of their licenses.
I mean, what are they trying to prove? That they believe their licenses should be followed?
Your statement tells me that you don't know many actual service members.
Wars are fought because civilians choose to do so. How about a "fuck you" to the voters and Bush administration instead? You really think these wars started because of the troops?
Gather fifty smokers, shove them in a garage, and tell them to chain smoke for twenty minutes. In another garage, turn on a gasoline-powered car and leave it running for twenty minutes. Which would you rather enter?
And if you've ever had the misfortune of downloading a game by "me4android" or "free4android", you're sad that it "works".
(You'd think Google would remove a developer who pirates 100's of games and packages them, often in an unplayable state, covered with 4 overlapping ads. You'd be wrong.)
Oh there was certainly a good deal of hysteria about the oil spill.
But it was still a big, expensive, embarrassing, inexcusable deal. With 11 dead people, miles of closed beaches, and important parts of the Gulf closed to fishers, It's a catastrophe in my book.
My non-rebuttal rebuttal would be that the Prius is better compared to a Camry or Accord, where I'd bet it compares more favorably. But for a fuel-efficient econobox, there are better options than the Prius.
I'd like a turbo-charged 3-cylinder diesel myself:P
If you want to argue that Consumer Reports is engaging in sensationalism, then make that point. But to imply that a magazine in inherently "impartial" (did you mean sensational?) is stupid.
Consumer Reports depends on subscribers who would pick up on any whiff of sensationalism and flood the editors' desks with complaints. They're about as impartial and fair as they get.
If I was facing the prospect of dying in a foreign prison for an act in which nobody was hurt, I would do everything I could to stay out. If you wouldn't do the same, you're a idiot.
You'd be concerned about honesty when your dealing with an entity that wants to take your life away?
Then Cuccinelli wouldn't be looking at it. This "investigation" is for political purposes. Which is the main problem folks here have with this decision.
Android phones and (I believe) the iPhone can do everything this phone can do out-of-the-box, and more. The apps just allow you to _further_ expand the phones capabilities.

At no point in the last 60 years has our government been able to spend less than what they take in.
Clinton did it.
At some point, you have to acknowledge the real source of the problem... out of control spending.
And insufficient revenue. Conservatives can't continue to pretend that half of the equation doesn't exist.
Prime numbers are better than low numbers.
Gather fifty smokers, shove them in a garage, and tell them to chain smoke for twenty minutes. In another garage, turn on a gasoline-powered car and leave it running for twenty minutes. Which would you rather enter?
And can we use one of the alternatives to "Generation Y", like the "Millenial Generation" or the "Net Generation"?
All Generation Y says is "the one that came after Generation X".
Would you be satisfied if poster Yahoo'd or Binged to the same article?
"And the report also estimates that there are 5 billion cellphones in the world — though some people may own more than one."
Yeah -- I'm pretty sure that worldwide ownership rate of cell phones is somewhat less than 73%.
(not sure where I stand so I'll play Devil's advocate)
Why should it be a choice?
Learning math isn't a choice. History and writing are required. Why shouldn't fitness (and, increasingly, nutrition) be required as well?

Oh yeah. Won't someone please think of the corporate executives?
The government ought to serve average citizens, not those who happen to run large corporations and can contribute to re-election campaigns.

Thanks for crunching the numbers!

You make two unsupported claims:
1. The Prius is more expensive
2. Only liberals drive Prius
Can you provide a source to either claim? I'm sure I could point out the flaws that lead to those conclusions, but you have to provide a link.
Otherwise, you're just trolling. Lame.

I get all the porn i want on the browser, so thats a rather mute point many (specially my brother) tries to push down my throat.
I don't know exactly what you and your brother are doing, but I don't think I approve.

Because it sucks and has no corporate support.
VP8 doesn't suck and appears to be gaining corporate support.
If you'd put down the Ayn Rand book for a minute, you'd really that your statement is absurd.
Wars? Civil rights? International relations? Law enforcement? Disaster rescue?
iPad...
...because you need more variety?
Oh really?
Can you name a similar scenario where a Democrat did something like this to an academic? I seriously doubt it.

iPhone is still the leader
Please define "leader". The iPhone is a leader in no useful metric I can think of.
Android phones and (I believe) the iPhone can do everything this phone can do out-of-the-box, and more. The apps just allow you to _further_ expand the phones capabilities.
The story is about using a consumer device to control robots. If you can't appreciate the coolness of that, then you need to turn in your geek card.
