Going back to the moon certainly won't help all portions of the economy. Think of that all that green cheese Bush wants to bring ack will do to Wisconsin!
This thread is upsetting! As of 12:18 AM on Jan 11 E.S.T. there are 45 comments. On a topic this controversial, there should be hundreds, if not thousands. The Patriot act, and the whole 1984 atmosphere we are living under have made us afraid to speak our minds. Freedom of speech was good while it lasted, but it's gone.
I am tempted to say Slashdot needs a Florida tag like Fark has, but this is not just in Florida. Touch screen without a paper trail are the way to rig elections. They will assure that those in power never lose power and democracy is as fixed as rasslin'. Electronic voting without a paper trail has got to go!
It's not just Art Bell and X-Files silliness. The Martians, or Zhti Ti Kofft as they call themselves really don't like to be spied on. Read all about it.
Comparing unauthorized copying to rape, murder, and robbery on the high seas is terribly sensational. This "game" is a piece of RIAA/MPAA propaganda whether they will admit to it or not. Don't buy CDs.
Ordinary people must obey the law, or be punished. Big corporations can bribe away laws they don't like. That is wrong, and there is something we all can do about it. Boycott them! And vote the bums taking their bribes out of office.
It is high time that everyone joined the consumer boycott of the RIAA and affiliated labels! Don't buy CDs. Continuing to buy their product just pays them to sue little girls and kindly old grandparents!
SkyOS sounds a lot like BeOs. An OS created from scratch that is not dragging around any legacy code. Great idea if there is software for it, but getting programmers to write for a new platform is a chore! Still BeOs would probably still be around if it weren't for the dirty pool Microsoft played in the marketplace.
That is exactly it! It does not matter if the probe is from the US, Japan, Russia, the EU, or China. The Zhti Ti Kofft have had enough of Earth's snooping.
File trading has been free promotion from the beginning, as it says at dontbuycds.org, but now it is not free, as they are paying BigChampagne to track what's hot! Turns out a promotion as good is file trading is worth paying for. How long before they are giving the networks Payola just like radio?
That's very insigtful. Copy protection and encryption crap has always been a pain in the ass to legitimate users of technology, but not even a bump in the road to "pirates." Only since Billy Boy Gates and EULAs have people been talking about a "license" to use their personal property. What a crock. The author of tat Businessweek article was smoking crack!

One thing you need to consider is that the RIAA are an organized crime syndicate. Read more at dontbuycds.org
I don't know what Bush hopes to find on Mars, but he wants to go back to the moon for the green cheese.
And he wasn't French, He was Corsican.
Thanks to Hitler, Kentucky is the last place left you can name your son Adolph. (After coach Adolph Rupp)
Maybe that Wallace and Gromit cartoon is what inspired Dubya. He wants to go to the moon for the cheese, too.

Yes, sci-fi geeks are already demanding human rights for robots. I wonder if the RIAA will respect their rights once they are making all popular music?
