  1. God on See 4-D Space With 3-D Glasses · · Score: 2

After stareing at this for about 30 mins it made me wonder if God is a 4D being..

  2. Why do we really need DJ's? on DJs Spinning Those Hard Drives · · Score: 0, Troll

I probably sound like a troll but does the world really need DJ's to stand up on a platform and spin records? Almost anyone can sit at home, find songs they didn't create themselves, and edit them togother into a mix of hours of dance music. All clubs *really* need is a cd player... but then again they have to have a DJ to be trendy and popular right?

  3. Windows keeping people safe on Volvo's "Safety Car" Runs Windows 98 · · Score: 1

It gives the phrase "blue screen of death" a whole new meaning.

  6. What probably should have happend on Can You Hear Me Now? · · Score: 5, Funny

"...Ok Mr. Diaz you don't need to make up some stupid story about being lost in the Andes mountains. If you are not interested, you could just say so." *click*

  7. Gamespy on Gamespy Installer Spreads Nimda · · Score: 1

  8. reltime time? on MPEG-4 Hardware Decoder For $99 · · Score: 1

    How fast exactly *is* reltime?

  9. No need on What's the Business Case for Microsoft and Open Source? · · Score: 1
I don't think Microsoft needs to change to open source at all. If you think microsoft should open up its source then why not everyone else who develops software? Why not go after Adobe or Macromedia?

The only difference between Microsoft and everyone else is that they use anti-competitive tatctics to push what ever they want. What Microsoft really needs to be convinced of is to play nice with others.

Everyone thinks that open sourcing MS products would improve them so they would be more usable. A more realistic aproach would be this: if you don't like Microsoft products, don't use them damn it.

  10. Audio encding for PVR? on How to Build The Perfect Home Theater PC · · Score: 1

I am wanting to setup a PVR system for myself and have been looking into different MPEG hardware decoder/tv tuner cards. Apart from the ATI AIW and WinTV PVR, I haven't found too much. My biggest concern though is if either of these will encode audio? What good is a PVR if your video is MPEG encoded but your audio is eating up your HD uncompressed? Anyone have any ideas about the best hardware to use?

  11. No more G-force limitations on pilots on X-45 Makes Debut Flight · · Score: 1

The cool thing about these remote controlled planes is that they are not subject to the g-force limitations of a pilot in the cockpit. In a dogfight, it would be no contest as an automated aircraft could out maneuver any manned fighter.

I bet they actually believe themselves when they think that a low quality video taped overcompressed copy of the movie is going to make them lose ticket sales... I guess I can tolerate big business trying to protect their money but it is obvious they don't know where to draw the line.

  15. Dope Wars! on Games in the Workplace? · · Score: 1
