In the few thumbnails that are loading i can maake out lego people, is the whole thing done to that scale? That would be about 1 classic (4x2x3) lego brick equals about 1.5x.75x.5m. If these models were to that scale it would certanly be impressive.
We have one, they guy has been resubmitting my port request almost daily, i was the first one the guy did so hes using me to try to work everythign out,which is a good thing. When i called US Cellular the rep said that their porting is done by a third party, which may or may not be true, Cingular says that they have thieir own port center, and that they assume US Cellular does too, so i dont know about that. Its not just my problem, last time i talked to him not a single request from US Cellular had been ported.
I went to cingular the first day, and i still havn't had my number changed. I've spent hours on the phone to no avail, according to US Cellular they are unable to port my number because the third party that does the porting cant switch between my US Cellular pre-pay number and a Cingular monthly plan. According to Cingular this is crap and US Cellular hasn't released any of 4k+ numbers to Cingular. I'm enjoying playing with my new phone, j2me is fun and working with something called a MIDlet is hilarious to me for some reason, but i need service. The baterry on my phone from US Cellular is shot and only good for about 2 minutes of talk time anymore and theres no way in hell i'm buying a $30 battery when i could end up being switched tomorrow(not likley however). Anyone else in or outside of the Milwaukee area having problems porting from US Cellular?
Don't worry, your not the only one who liked their Dune mini-series. The first one aired before we had cable, but i caught all of Children of Dune earlier this year, i loved it and went out and bought the first DVD, i also read the first 3 books and the three prequils. I bought CoD on DVD like the first week it was out and am just now finishing Chapterhouse. This summer i loaned the DVDs to a friend of mine who doesn't have cable and he loved them, and has since read the first 3 dune books. I also got him hooked on Farscape, loaned him the season 1 set, and he missed it on fox but i showed him some VCDs of Firefly and we both have pre-orders in for the DVD(w00t, 5 more days). IMHO the Dune mini-series were quite well done and much better than the old movie, i'm planning on watching this BG miniseries to, i've only seen a few episodes of the original(i was home sick on tuesday and watched part of the marathon) it was ok, but not great, i'll be interested to see how the new one turns out.
Thats one (of many) thing(s) i liked about Farscape, a lot of the aliens were completly non-humanoid, and they made it work. Muppets in space and all, but the pupeteers really made characters like Rigel and Pilot work. Also it seemed they tried to at least make the humanoid aliens more alien somehow, being a plant or having lots of tentacles and a posined tounge etc.
What has WotC done with Star Wars? Does anyone play the SW:TCG? I havn't heard much about it, but i was deep in the old Decipher SW:CCG before they lost their liscense.
I only own one dell, my laptop(latitude lt, if your wondering), and i found their support amazing. I bought the laptop 3rd hand from my boss who bought it at a sale at the university who had originally purchased it. I'd recieved it wiped and installed win98 (its several years old, p200mhz, 64mb of ram...), but unfortunatly i didn't have any of the drivers. The display wouldn't go to the 600x800 that the lcd was(it still wont in dos), and i also didn't have the modem drivers. One of their tech support guys helped me sift through the website for over an hour to find drivers that might work for this laptop that i had bought third hand. That strikes me as standing behind a product well past any sort of waranty or even reasonable expectations. As for this spywayre thing, it seems to me to be a legal thing. Most programs that contain ad/spyware state in ther EULAs that you have to install gator (CLARIA IS SPYWARE!) or gain or whatever. By removing it, you're probably violating those terms and dell doesn't want to be liable. Here's hoping EULAs will be found void in court sometime soon.
I hope they at least contact the user before shutting off service. I can think of many legitimate reasons to send 20 e-mails in 10 minutes. My adress book has many times that, and sending a CC to a fraction of my adress book would trip this.

I've seen both sides of this issue and seen that sex offenses are very hard to try from the courts standpoint. I'd like to point out to everyone that not all sex offenders are child molesters, yes, child molesters are the bottom of the bucket of socioty and should be treated as thus, but like any other form of crime, people are falsley convicted. A very close friend of mine was raped, but unfortunatly they couldn't get a conviction. The guy was loaded and the defense made the argument that she was after money, it sickened me. I wouldn't want this guy anywhere near me, and if i ever did run into him i'd probly bash his face in, but hes not on any list anywhere. On the other end of this, a guy i know at school was accused of rape, he was 18, she was underage. He was arrested in class, with much spectacle. It was all cleared up after the girls parents heard her on the phone talking about how she'd lied about the whole thing. But if they hadn't found out i hate to think what would happen to my of age african american friend in the courts system after being accused of rape by an underage white girl. His life would pretty much be over. Think about all the possible scenarios before you cry "Wont someone please think of the children!". If people are a danger they should be kept locked up, either in prison or in an institution, otherwise if they've payed their debt to society , they should be allowed to go on with their lives. As for child molseters though, people that sick dont change and should be kept under lock and key.
I'm going right after school tomorrow to get my new phone and make the switch final. If your planning on switching you probably should have contacted the carrier your considering beforehand. I know cingular had a pre-number port form on their website you could fill out thats supposed to make it go quicker tomorrow. Name, address, phone number to be switched, old carrier etc.

$.25 a liscense with a cap at a quarter million is NOT a lot of money for M$, a corporation with 200k times that amount in cash.
