Most kiosk type things i've seen are a cabinet with a keyboard built in and a big fat trackball with 2 heavy duty old school style arcade buttons for clicks. Mice just aren't made for a kiosk setting.
In truth i havn't gotten a flu shot either, i never get the flu, just colds (which i have now). It was a joke, flu shots are a favorite for conspiracy theorists (TFH wearers), also, if you remember that one simpsons, mr x, with the prisoner ending...
10 hours a day, 100 minutes an hour, 100 seconds a minute. 1 day = 100000. 1 metric second =.864 "standard" (the prayer schedual of 13th century monks or something...) seconds. Should make for easy conversions between planets and such.
It doesn't work too well, when you light the ring, it doesn't ignite evenly, it just sorta flashes upward from the point where you ignited it, no flaming rings shooting across the room, as cool as that would be.
Those may be battery standards, but they are not "standard" batteries. In any grocery store, convinience store, drug store, you can get AAs, AAAs, Cs, Ds and 9v batteries, those are what i was talking about, i've never seen an A cell on the rack at walgreens. Dont really see much that i didn't mention before besides maybe 6v lantern batteries at the hardware store.
Sattelite "theft", ok, thats debatable, but decoding it is illegal under the DMCA. I think you confusing that with cable theft, (coaxial, an actual physical hookup to the pole). Or, for those of us with roadrunner, a coaxial splitter...
Looking at the above posts, Adobe needs to get on board with linux. So many people need things like photoshop for work, and the gimp while comparable, isn't the industry standard (much like the Office vs OO.org situation). Premier is another great aplication, but unfortunatly, IIRC, its windows only (adobe dropped their mac product line, right?). I've used premier, maybe a little too much, you can check out some of my work at my homepage link, and i wish i could have used it booted to linux. We've been playing around with CinePaint some and like it, but were still doing final cuts for the next movie in premiere.
Might as well go for another link...
Your exatly right. Around here its a standard roadrunner connection and has all the crap expected from dialup aol, thier software, startpages, 'content' etc. Oh, and it costs $10 more a month than standard roadrunner.
XP Professional with WMP9(no DRM), there are like 20 weird codecs avalible to my various video programs that i've never heard of and i assume were installed this way.
If Media Player recognizes it, it automatically downloads and installs the codec, brainless. About the only other codecs you'll see that dont auto install are DivX and conversly(:p) XviD.
HE is easy enough to make, and uranium is avalible in pitchblende, and also is decayable into plutonium in a breeder reactor IIRC. There ya go, if your a terrorist, dont read the above post...
Little more than a hundred bucks'll get ya a season of farscape on amazon. Season 1 . Season 2.
Actually on the dvd in the special feature, they said they designed serenity as a cross between a bird and an actual firefly.
Anyone else get the banner for slashdot personals? WTF is the deal with that, april's not for a couple of months.
Good movie, but it was almost a disney movie, JB saved it from that though.
Damnit, theres a quote, something along the lines of, "please forgive [name] he's mixed nyquil and dayquil. Anybody know? Simpsons?
Funny, i was just playing SimAnt. You bastard.
Theoretically, people see money on the counter, and no one around, they think they're being watched. Honesty through paranoia.
With all that was spent on the cooling he could have bought a new processor instead of overclocking his 386 to 4Ghz.

C is still the speed of light in a vaccum. Which equals 1.8026175 x 10^12 furlongs per fortnight.
