Reminds me when i brought in some peeps and we put them in the vaccum chamber in the chem lab. They started to grow a bit like we hypothesised(like the marshmallows in the jar in the foodsaver vaclock II infomercial) but then i guess all the air pockets in the marchmallow collapsed and we ended up with paper thin little blobs of purple sugar. Tasted the same, but not so chewey.

I'm all for wireless this and wireless that, but am i the only one who sees absolutely no point to this? I cant imagine the batteries lasting for very long also what about all the cables besides power you plug into your tv, youd have to set those up wirelesly too. DVD, reciever, even just the cable. I i just cant see much of a market for large batery operated tvs.
Who the hell spends ungodly amounts on linemans sets from catalogs, i think the cheapest "test set" in the telephony section of MCM was like $150, its much easier and cheaper to either steal a real one, or make your own damn beige box with a cheap fone and some gator clips.
A little less than a year ago i bought a Maxtor 160Gb hard drive that was advertised as like $200, after $30(store) and $40(mftr) rebates. I bought the drive, got both my rebate recipts and the forms, sat down to fill them out, and hey, guess what, BOTH CompUSA and the manufacturer wanted an original UPC, no photocopies. There being only 1 UPC on the box i was SOL on the $30 rebate, kinda sucked.
Damn you two, this just proves that my theory is correct, all the attractive women in the state are places other than milwaukee. Seriously, its sad, i go up north, or to madison, even to just the suburbs, i'm blown away by the amount of good looking females. I need to move.
Bonus.com not so educational, and some ads, but lots of fun games for kids ages 8 to 80. Battlefield is an especially addictive mulitplayer cartoony tank game, lots of fun.
Microsoft's Next-Generation Secure Computing Base (formerly Palladium)
Thats a little lengthy methinks, can't we just come up with some freaky little symbol to stand for "The Secure Computing Initative Formerly Known as Palladium"
Built in recorders, some phones have mp3 playback capabilities, etc etc... People here have been in trouble for custom ring tones that were snippits of copyrighted songs.
Ringworld was stationary(it spun around and moved, but it didn't go anywhere) and would have collapsed without a star in the center IIRC. It was the puppeteers kempler rosette system that was fleeing the galactic explosion.
Something new, dual icons? Anywhoo... Looks like an interesting test, i took the time to fill out the long survey, which is probably more imortant to them than the actual beta test. This looks a lot nicer than me Archos jukebox, but my main selling point on an HD based mp3 player is capacity, is it more than 20GB?
The carbonation in soda is pretty bad for you. It will react and strip calcium off of pretty much anything in you, teeth, bones etc, this is why sports coaches tell their players not to drink soda, it can weaken your bones. All this will also leave you with lots of Calcium-Carbonate(scale, like in hard water), this can also lead to problems. Drink a lot of soda in a short period of time, and you might notice your piss is slightly cloudy, the extreme of this happened a friend of mine, kidney stones. Ouch.
Coke is acidic, my chem teacher said its mol2, but even without the syrup the soda water makes a pretty good solvent. Theres a valve on the back of the fountain for just soda water, some places fill a bucket up with that before close to clean the floor with.
