    yeah, in the old morpheus, i'm not sure about kazaa, theres a file wizard that searches your hard drive for media files and shares any directories containing those media files, if you click this you end up sharing most of your hard drive

    i own the 20 gig version of the archos jukebox, and i love it, it goes everywhere with me, the only problems are the relatively short battery life, about 5 hours between charges, and it only plays mp3 and wma and it only plays the most common bitrates, a big plus though is it plays winamp playlists, if i could replace the firmware, i would take the time to convert all my files and re-rip my cds to ogg vorbis, its a great format that hasn't really taken hold, plus its a lot more fun to say then em-pee-three

    i've got one of these archos jukeboxes and yeah they do twitch a bit, but only before they get up to speed

    if people, political leaders specifically, lived for centuries there would be more tome for grudges to fester and there would probably be more war, if generations were a longer span, the general views of the populace wouldn't change for decades, the influx of new ideas is generally from the youger generation, if generations were spaced out by centuries, the human race would stagnate

    sometimes these super green lawns look unhealthey anyway, in suburbia (shudder) there are subdivisions that seem like they have neighborhood regulations about the color of grass, every single lawn the exact same disgustingly unnaturally bright looking green

    yes, carbon nanotubes are the perfect material for a space elevator i cant find the article, but the first thing i ever read about carbon nanotubes was in popular sciencea few years ago and the first use they mentioned was a space elevator, it went on about how carbon nanotubes had 20 times the (weird unit of mesurement, soemthing doing with length and weight) of the ideal material for a space tether, theres a ton of other uses for nanotubes mentioned in some good articles at

    actually allmost everyone is allergic to mosquito bites in the first place, i dont know if getting bitten enough would make someone develop an imunity, but some people aren't allergic to mosquito bites at all, my grandfather wasn't, he'd get a tiny bump and it wouldn't itch at all, lucky bastard

    it is true that we don't exploit our own oil reserves, but our administration wants to drill some(alaska), most of the world, especially the middle east is against our actions in the middle east, if we piss off the middle east, they may raise oil prices some more, when gas goes up to $2.50 a gallon, people will be clubbing the environmentalists and begging that we drill in alaska, and what company's plans do you think the administration will go ahead with, the ones who funded their campains, also bush and cheney's money is mostly from oil, so a raise in mideastern oil prices will go far to line the pockets of those in charge with alaskan oil money
