The point of mad wifi is he can use that to exploit the WPA2, it seems that you think it's an exploit within the drivers. Doesn't matter if it's used in the current kernels, you can just install an earlier version.
Also, this exploit is useful if you have access to the network, since you have physical access to some machine near the AP, you have some admin access to the machine, thus this is very much an issue if you only rely on WPA2.
Not only that, working for a carrier it could lead to all sorts of fun sessions with the government, ending up with you losing your job and some serious fines.
Look in government institutions - I worked as "the IT guy" in 2005-2007 at a university in Denmark, parts of the LAN was still token ring, reason behind that was at some point during upgrade to ethernet, someone decided that the whole building needed to be overhauled, effectively freezing funds for infrastructure.
Right now they are demolishing it and building a new nice department - only took them something like 12 years from deciding something had to be done to actually do it.
Also, using the iPhone will cost more than most entry level DSLR, the iPhone wont have auto focus enabled on the lenses - so basically he ends up with something way inferior more expensive, and by the looks of it, way less user friendly.
Also, with my DSLR it's the lenses and flash that weigh me down, both economically and mass, using the iPhone just give me an inferior product, with no benefits.
Often they might even collect more than they need for the court - but likely not in a manner that is legally recognized.
I know from my systems that we collect way more than legally required, as a software "engineer" I need to know exactly what my system is up too, not just what the user was doing.
Thats all fine and dandy, but since then people have started using mobile phones, DVD players and other doowhackeys - on top of that your reaction time has not improved in any ways - it will still take you the same amount of time to realize something is wrong and react to it.
Even with better everything physics are still the absolute law and bringing a car to a total standstill from 60 rather than 50 km/h still takes a shitload more distance.
Technically they can still be proven correct, no one knows when the suns next big fart is coming up (the shiny one, not the paper version, they shit crap out all the time:D - and are probably an even greater danger to society)
You can't supply table names in the ones I'm using, in fact the whole point of a parameterized (fuck me I can't spell that) query is to have the query in a fixed state rather than creating them dynamically.
Regarding your other point, when you use parameterized queries you have a guarantee from the driver to escape anything that's put into the position/binding, I don't care how random your string is, there is simply no way you will inject anything into my database.
(Also, I'm using stored procedures and strict user policies for everything, which makes it even harder for you to inject anything), in fact there is no service that can connect to my database with any kind of access to tables.
I hate that joke, if you understood binary then you'd know that 10 represents 4 states and thus 4 types of people. Yes 10binary = 2decimal, but still sucks.
Don't know about your subways, but the one in Copenhagen is boring - would think it was awesome to have that kind of gimmick - still wont buy it, but as long as I can choose not to look at it it's fine by me.
(They did a trial at the train stations where commercials where blasted out through speakers, that bothered a lot of people since you can't just look away.)
Bacon is vegetarian food - all spices are herbs, herbs are vegetarian food. Bacon is an excellent way to spice up your food, logically therefore bacon is vegetarian.
1. This is for consumers, want something where you can freely spam, sorry, send out on mailing lists? Go buy a line designed for that. Don't know of any ISP in Denmark that let any traffic pass from consumer to port 25 2. You claim to be such an avid user, yet your firewall crashes from something as simple as log entries?
Your kind is the worst to support when you sit in the NOC, you know just enough to fuck up big time, jargo enough to get through level 1 and 2, yet act like an asshat when we kindly point out that it's in fact you who have put on the router the wrong way around...
Where did you get that from? Where in my post does it suggest they charge customers for this?
Botnet and spam activity cost bandwith, it's in the interest of the ISP to get rid of it - no one would dare charging for this service, when I worked in NOC for one of them we would happily guide you through installation of free anti virus and help you clean it up.
You know, there are still countries in this world where companies try to satisfy their customers.
Depends on manufacturer, some is F2, some is F10, some is DEL, some is F12 and there are probably a lot more fun combinations (like the one where you access the "hidden" Dell software for testing).
1. It's a.com (commercial) 2. They let it expire, they will have a damned hard time proving it's essential to business when they can't even bother to renew it.
BS, ISPs are just lazy. Here in Denmark at least a couple of the ISPs will actively block your connection if they detect botnet-like activity from your machine. When flagged any requests will be directed to a homepage where they tell you that you probably are infected and asks you to contact support for further assitance.
Uhm, what?

Pink penguines - only logical solution.
Other way around mate.
Denormalization will give you performance, but constrain your ability to model data.
You had me all the way till you complained about hard returns in a form field - why on earth would that ever be a problem?

So you are basically saying the same as I did, the fact that roads are built to code with margin for idiots.
Roads are built to code, they are designed to handle cars at the speed politicians have set with a margin for idiots.
Please make sure you only kill yourself when you have an accident...
What a load of BS.
Yeah in a perfect world everything is tested and running 100% correct. That Linux you are using, *GASP*! it has bugs in it!
Good point, I always think of it as escaping - bad muju from my days of PHP :)
Still wondering what database he is using, mine won't accept parameters in other places than where a field expression goes.
Technically they can still be proven correct, no one knows when the suns next big fart is coming up (the shiny one, not the paper version, they shit crap out all the time :D - and are probably an even greater danger to society)

Do tell us how you inject SQL into a parameterized SQL statement.

Sounds like you are the moron my friend.

Nope, not crazy, I too remember having a bios with mouse curser enabled, not sure about the point of it, but sure remember having it.
Don't think the PD has a big case here.
