If you look at the cart. it lists the amount of ink.. in Canada it is marked in ml.
If you have one of the Office class printers the black cartrige costs about $50 and contain about 40ml of ink
If you hav one of the cheap sub $100 printers it still costs about $50 for the cart but it only contains about 20ml of ink..
Its clearly marked on the cart and on the box.. I ALWAYS check how much ink is in the cart before deciding on wich printer I get.
By the way the Canon BCI-21 Black contains only about 5 - 10 ml of ink.
The worst part is that the cell companies don't have a whole lot of incentive to stop it as long as they're systems are holding up to the load - just more money in their pocket.
Thats exactly why I removed the e-mail option.. They even admitted that other users where having the same problem but they showed no interest in correcting the problem.
That happened to me already.. My account came with e-mail at 10 cents Canadian a message.. but all the e-mail addresses on the network where the same format areacode-phonenumber@companyname so a marketing CO just started randomly e-mailing addresses because they could easily guess valid adressess..
I had to quickly remove the e-mail option from the phone because the charges stated to add up fast... When I asked the phone company if they could block or filter such messages.. they said there was nothing they could do..
I no longer have e-mail on my phone because of stupid SPAMERS!
Hay, I didn't say science was bad... I just find it amusing how differant some of the outcomes are.
We are not alone, we ARE alone.

640k is more than enough, there is nevery enough..
Its just an observation.. I think some people jump on the bandwagon too quickly when it comes to these discovers... Often people would be better off to wait a little and see if a pans out, before declaring it fact (wich SOME people tend to do).
I love how science is always finding ways to disprove it self. One year something is good for you the next its bad.
Its kind of like software.. Never go with theory 1.0;)
I don't find the standard X-box controller too big but I have noticed that the 3rd party ones of the same style are a little smaller and have the buttons spaced a bit better.. I always thought the ps controllers where a little small and the N64 has my vote for the strangest yet resonably commfortable shape.. Then again I have big hands.. Kids, I am sure have a little trouble with them.
Ya, I hated profiles in NS and I hate them just as much now..
It doesn't seem to be a rights issue because the users I was testing it with had full admin rights on the system..
I still much prefer systems that use the users home directory or documents folder.. In program user profiles should have died with win 9X. All the big OSes now have some form of login and user managment system.. Its just combersome.
As interested as I am with the prospect of a another browers.. I am still having strange problems with it under windows.. It alwasy seems to forget where is profiles folder is and will noth launch untill I create a new profile or point it to the one I made last time.. Why is this needed for the browser?? I can understand it for the E-mail and news but not even the browser works without setting a profile.. I guess it lets you sort your book marks per user but unter windows 2000 and higher users profiles are better handled by the login name.. the app shouldn't even handle it.. And under linuk you have your home folder..
I if it loaded pages faster than IE or konqeror I might be interested but I have not really liked the 0.9.9 verisons or even the first RC much..
You might want to check out this company http://www.aquaman.co.uk
Or just stick you PDA in a strong ziploc bag.. Its clear, waterproof and you can still press the buttons and write on the screen.
If you combine one with your aluminum case (In side it) it should be both durable and waterproof.
Not that I have cared about the X-files for a few years now.. But the fact that there is a picture of them in the last episoed means nothing.. There could just be a flashback that contains them or maybe they bill pull a Voyager and go back in time using an alien ship to make sure they don't die..
For most, I think the show jumped the shark when the movie was made.

Thanks for the link but the trial version seems to have some sort of bug.. I'm Running XP and every time clicked OK in the file dialog box the whole app crashed, no matter what file type I was trying to open.. Even a txt file.. must not like my system...
In a test environment hand the app to someone who only had a basic understanding of how to the system works and let them try data entry.. They will often find many holes in your validation.
What happens if someone leaves a field blank? Enters a zero or types a character in a number field.. Does it post and error or does it crash and burn?
What happens when a user presses buttons out of order or closes a screen before completing a form?
I never said the users would have any special control of the system but if you switch them to linux they will be confused by many common interface differances regardless of the interface being KDE or Gnome..
Many things still pester me when I am using Linux.. Such as copy and pasting.. In windows you can use Ctrl C, Ctrl X, Ctrl V for Copy, Cut and past in linux Ctrl C often closes an app.
In windows you can copy and past between almost all apps.. In linux it often depends what the app was developed with.
I didn't say it was inpossible but it would be more difficult than just starting with switching the office suite.. Aslo the origonal question stats that they use some custom apps which may be troublesome to get working with Wine.
Then again this is only my opinion.. Some distos such as Licorus do a pritty good job of mimicing the look of windows by including things like a KDE/SAMBA network nabourhood icon on the desktop.

Thanks for the info.. I put the 3 suggestions in order of preferance.. 3 being the last thing you should try.. I have heard of it working for other people but have not tried 3 myself.. thanks for the heads up about the subscription (contract).
As for those who pointed out that your credit rating would take a beating.. I never said you should ignore it after you try and block the payment.. I simply suggested it as a last resort tactic to get some attention.. I have in the past canceled cards that had auto payments that I neglected to transfer to another card.. The company ususaly calls you right after the first payment is missed at wich point they usualy let you correct the problem... be it giving them the new card number or closing your account.
True, Its really GS that does all that.. If you run Open Office under windows you don't get that option.. but you can mimic it by loading Ghoust Script for windows and the extra tools to redirect your printer..
I found it rather time consuming to configure (GS) and the end result didn't aways come out the best.. For some reason it would only convert the first or last page.. I am still looking into the issue.
I have been Running Open Office for several weeks now and am very happy.. It does a great job of opening most MS files.. It includes all the basic tools you need.. Word Processor, Spreadsheet and Presentation software..
I would probably recommend you stay on windows for your OS.. Sure Linux is FREE but it will only compound the learning curve of your users.. (Don't flame me, I Love Linux but for typical windows users its too much too fast.)
I would also recommend you have at leaset one current copy of MS office incase Open Office can not open or convert an important document.
If you use alot of Macros in any of your office documents you will probably have to redo them in Open Office..
Very true, the origonal movies had loads of bad acting but the characters where well liked and the story was fast end exciting.. All eliments that E1 was sadly lacking... No one really liked Anny or Jar Jar they where just too silly.
E2 starts a bit slow but builds it self up into something now and exciting in the last 45min.

Not sure about Earthlink or AOL but I have never had trouble closing an account.
Tips
1. Hit 0 on the first menu.. there is almost never a Cancel service option in the voice menu and 0 usually sends you to a human right away.
2. Go to the billing departemnt.. They are the ones usualy in controll of closing your account.
3. Can't get them to stop billing you.. call your credit card company and have them stop accepting the charges.. The ISP will come looking for thier money and at that point you will have someone to talk too.
A friend of mine got AOL FREE for over 3 months, she started with the one month starter CD then every month she phoned to terminate the account.. Every time they would offer her another month free to try it..
This went on for many months, not costing her a dime except time to make the calles..
She finnaly went to a real ISP..
I have to agree. USB updates would be a great idea but there seems to be too few common or general buttons to copy the functions of my other remotes..
1. No numbers.. Very anoying..
2. How am I supposed to change modes on my reciever or change my surround speaker settings?
3. DVD menu buttons?
4. No jump / recall button so I can skip back to the last channel.
5. Where is the Record button for the VCR????

So how does that fit in with the saying "Lego My Ego" refering to letting go of an Ego Waffle?
As long as you make an Image or a 1:1 copy it will be detected as the same disk.. Its manly determined from track lengths and offsets.
