    My greatest act of low-powered gaming was winning Unreal on a PowerBook G3 300. This was MacOS 8.6 or so, with manual memory management and everything. I had to create a custom Extensions set boot mode to even get enough free memory to launch Unreal.

    That's nothing, I passed unreal on a 200 MHz performa! Ran about 6 FPS on the lowest possibly quality. Ahh, those were the days.

    The PC doesn't have many side-scrolling or falling-block titles. The GBA has pretty much every 'tris game ever designed.

    If this hasn't already been mentioned... Textfiles is a huge repository of (mostly) old BBS textfiles. Also web.textfiles.com has newer ones.

    wget is a little (unixy) http file download utility. -r means download the entire directory. Therefor you could use it to download a whole web-page to browse. It'd be a hassle to do it like this for every site though, not very practical.

    Oh, I was making a general comment about Apple. Too cheap to include a $20 floppy drive, too stupid to include a manual eject for CDs...

    Don't even get me started on how they don't include a punch-card reader, and it doesn't have a single vacuum tube!

    These things look like CDs, more often than not have CD logos on them, and in no way significanly warn users.
