Foundation for Free Exploitation of Resources, I'm appalled that "citizens" are freely allowed to complain about security issues concerning commercial software. It is our position that complaining about viruses is functionally the same as writing them, and that abandoning IP protected operating systems is treason during a time of war, or near a time of war, or pre-war, or post-war, and should be dealt with with criminal sanctions at the very least.
And I haven't received almost any funding from Microsoft.
you can just grab local HDTV programming right out of the air for free!
Unfortunately, due to the new PPFB(Perpetual Profits for Broadcasters) Act of 2004, you can't actually watch any of the programming without paying a weekly license fee and providing a DNA sample to ease future prosecutions.
their efforts to make this whole enterprise actually profitable. They do want that. Essentially subsidizing XBox2 developement would be a huge expense. Top that with the hardware discounts they'll continue and it starts costing real money. And while it won't seriously dent their cash reserves, it will look bad on spreadsheets and to investors and make the whole process more vulnerable to pressures to quit.
I'm much more interested in the analysis ...

Much hotter then other space bodies, that much is known.
From the CNN article: The nine-member commission said commercialization of space should become "the primary focus" of the country's new space exploration vision. Given the proper encouragement, "an entirely new set of businesses can emerge that will seek profit in space," the report stated.
So this is just a way of setting up a new venue for outsourcing American jobs.
Seriously though, it's so good to know that this administration has gotten over that whole "expand the base of human knowledge, explore new worlds to benefit everyone" sort of namby-pamby liberalism and have their priority straight. I suggest we core the moon of all of it's cheese and on to Mars to drill/mine/rip out whatever is valuable there!
the Mentat League, I'm appalled at your celebration of this thinking device. The people who died during the Butlerian Jihad did so to destroy such mechanisms.
the drug company multi-nationals, I'd like to strongly dissuade everyone from pursuing this idea. If the "people" are free to concentrate on unpatentable, abandoned and unprofitable medicines in some sort of collaborative effort, this will severely hamper our efforts to develop ever faster erectile dysfunction medicines, baldness cures in a pill form, medicines for newly created social "disorders", drugs to strip the carbs out of everything (or proteins or whatever the new black is) and have people pay top dollar for them. Stop rocking the boat and someday we'll find a cure for something (as long as it's profitable).
reported that terrorist activity had gone down in 2003 (supporting the thesis that W's war on terror was working) when in fact it had gone up? I'm shocked at such a suggestion! Shocked!
Until Congress says so, technically we're not. And considering this administrations dislike/contempt/disdain for the law (any law), they don't seem in any hurry to clear up the situation. They encourage a grey zone where they feel they can operate with no oversight/impedence.
of the estate of John Stuart Mill, I will be expecting a check in my hand (made to cash) by the end of business today.
This flagrant abuse of the "public domain" system has to stop. If people start reading and sharing intellectual property simply because it is no longer covered by any form of valid legal restrictions, how are people like myself supposed to continue to earn a living? Who's thinking about that?

It's mother and I will have a stern talking to it, perhaps a time out.
That should clear things up.
they spend that money on education instead?
if I listened to the droning of the proles. Instead, I'm going out to shoot a peasant or a pheasant. Whichever I find on my estate first.
they internally alpha'd a Mac version as of June 16, 2004 (which went well) and expect it will take 2-3 months more for it to show up.
I guess Amiga is next in line.
And there were two different humans involved, but who cares about them?
I feel so dirty.

Simple mistake.

Instead it provides the technology to retailers such as HMV, Virgin, MTV, MSN and Tiscali.
I still haven't figured out how Peter Gabriel ended up as the EU force of Evil.

If they do, then the [trekmode]Universe will come to an end![/trekmode]
Oh, wait, that's matter and antimatter. Never mind. False alarm. Boy, I'm embarrassed now.

Remember, EOB today! (Tick, tick, tick)
Ernest Borgnine in space. Are there scarier thoughts?
Oh, was that a bad movie. And I paid to see it too.
Bob, is that you? You always were a bit antsy about the whole "tagging the whole population" thing.
Perhaps, you have some shark jumping to explain, Fonzie...uh...Stefan.
