    Foundation for Free Exploitation of Resources, I'm appalled that "citizens" are freely allowed to complain about security issues concerning commercial software. It is our position that complaining about viruses is functionally the same as writing them, and that abandoning IP protected operating systems is treason during a time of war, or near a time of war, or pre-war, or post-war, and should be dealt with with criminal sanctions at the very least.

    And I haven't received almost any funding from Microsoft.

    you can just grab local HDTV programming right out of the air for free!

    Unfortunately, due to the new PPFB(Perpetual Profits for Broadcasters) Act of 2004, you can't actually watch any of the programming without paying a weekly license fee and providing a DNA sample to ease future prosecutions.

    their efforts to make this whole enterprise actually profitable. They do want that. Essentially subsidizing XBox2 developement would be a huge expense. Top that with the hardware discounts they'll continue and it starts costing real money. And while it won't seriously dent their cash reserves, it will look bad on spreadsheets and to investors and make the whole process more vulnerable to pressures to quit.

    So this is just a way of setting up a new venue for outsourcing American jobs.

    Seriously though, it's so good to know that this administration has gotten over that whole "expand the base of human knowledge, explore new worlds to benefit everyone" sort of namby-pamby liberalism and have their priority straight. I suggest we core the moon of all of it's cheese and on to Mars to drill/mine/rip out whatever is valuable there!

    the drug company multi-nationals, I'd like to strongly dissuade everyone from pursuing this idea. If the "people" are free to concentrate on unpatentable, abandoned and unprofitable medicines in some sort of collaborative effort, this will severely hamper our efforts to develop ever faster erectile dysfunction medicines, baldness cures in a pill form, medicines for newly created social "disorders", drugs to strip the carbs out of everything (or proteins or whatever the new black is) and have people pay top dollar for them. Stop rocking the boat and someday we'll find a cure for something (as long as it's profitable).

    Until Congress says so, technically we're not. And considering this administrations dislike/contempt/disdain for the law (any law), they don't seem in any hurry to clear up the situation. They encourage a grey zone where they feel they can operate with no oversight/impedence.
