0.25$ an HR, Free coffee, and all the dustballs you can hack up.
Turn the resumes that come flooding in to your boss to make him a bit more secure about finding a replacement for you, there are prolly losts of basement linux admins at your university. If not Tell him spend the extra $10,000 on the M$ server that'll need an upgrade in licences in a year that'll only cost $5000, and a mear $2000 the following year.
With spin and charge we could do up0 right0 up1 right1 ! Quadral cool
I wonder if 56err48k modems will actually be able to do 96k
Does this technology allow for the electron to change directions as in up to down and left to right or just the binary up to right?
Blame it all on Metallica they started it!
All this will end up as bad as Social security, cable Telivision, and the war on drugs.
I can see it now, ISP charged per user tax that never make it to the artists who are promised ads on filesharing software only to be replaced by infomercial-popups, while the feds go busting down doors cause little Jill Downloaded a song off the FBI's Bait peer, only because dad wouldnt cough up 25$ for the new nsync album because his ISP bill is too high this month.

You have Louisiana listed as a safe Zone and its NOT!!!!
I bought a UPS that didnot work from Buest Buy In Lafayette Louisiana. Not only did it not work it actually took down my computers every 2 or 3 hours. after owning it for only 3 days I brought it back and bought another UPS frome somewhereelse. I returned to Buest Buy for a mouse 3 days later to see My old Broken UPS on the shelf!!!! I know it was the same one from the scars I left on the box half crushing it after removing the contents. I was amazed that they would put it back on the shelf all crushed up looking.
--my 2 cents
I bought an allinwonder PCI 4MB RAm in 96 it kinda worked as far as video input and output but the TV player program was as buggy as windows 95. I am still using this video card for a second display on my main system and even remember using it in a dual display eith a 2 MB S3 card back when win98 had just cameout. The hardware is rock solid. BUt using windows 2k I can tell you they have never made an attempt to expand the drivers or applications associated with this card. At the time I bought the card till 1999 there was next to no ATI website much less a support site. These guys seem to employ awesome electrical engeneers, but dont seem to want to hire any worthy programers. Makes you wonder if the senior programmer is overpaid.
Look here Moses, I happen to be one of the "ATV riding morons", and don't know where you get off making such a generalized statement. And If we weren't respecting the forests, as opposed to "your forest" which should be posted No Trespassing, we'd hack/ carve trails through them. Oh wait that is what you travel on. Most of us "clueless assholes" use ATV's to get to untraveled parts of terrain to enjoy it in one way of another. They weren't designed to do circles in confined spaces. Its ashamed that fido got what was coming to him. My dogs don't chase tires nor do they run off like wildlife. Its called training. Seeing as how you will probably own 2 or 3 cars in your lifetime and I will go through 1 ATV, I think its safe to say that you will do way more damage to the planet than me on my ATV. If this "moronic asshole" gets his tires slashed by a tree hugging radical, Ill do the American thing call the police and sue.
Why a 30,000 rpm CD drive? Most hard drives are under 10,000 rpm. If you concentrate on how the data is read and wrote insted of how fast to spin the media higher access speeds are easy. A poster earlier suggested using a scanner and an analysis algo. to produce cd-reader possibly faster than current cd-rom technology. Although this sounds like a nice solution, did you think of why most, not including chip based solutions, have some sort of spin to them. Even the dreaded 1.44 floppy spins, did anyone ever attempt to make those things spin faster?
use rarp and tftp
