My Jukebox recorder has survived for about 6 years so far. And i've recently upgraded the HDD to 60GB. The only trouble i'm having it is that the headphone hole has worn out a bit so i have to wiggle the connector a bit to get both channels, but that's understandable after six years and probably easy to repair.
Also, anyone who wants a cheap large capacity player can buy an archos jukebox on Ebay ($20-40) and a laptop HDD (~$100 for 100GB). Which gives you a player with 66% more capacity than the largest iPod at about a third of the price, if you don't mind it being somewhat bulkier and having a monochrome monitor.

GMT time? Ah, you must be from the redundant department of redundancy.
I for one would not mind all porn sites being under.xxx, but the people who run them might. And since it's only valid in the US, only sites based in the states are going to have to follow it.
Also, how do you classify porn? If you have only two naked pictures on the website, is it still a porn site? How about artistic nudes?
Well, atleast it's more productive than killing the same monsters for eight hours so that you can level up and learn a new spell which will help you kill some more monsters to get to the next level...
Heh, you'd think the person this story is about would get modded higher than 2 when posting about it. There really should be a Slashdot interview with you, could skip the whole picking out qestions and waiting for answers bit too. I know i'd really like to hear about the whole game development thing myself.
Well, that might be beacuse IT IS an African distro and a word in Zulu.
As far as i know it was meant as its main goal to be a distro for Africans and the general popularity is just an added bonus.
OSS tends to have silly sounding names in general.
Ubuntu, other than sounding silly to someone unfamiliar with it also expresses the ideology behind the foundation.
The fact that you think gold is only good for shiny oranments is ignorance on your part. Precious metals like gold and platinum have many applications in electronics, medicine and science in general. And you know what, i really do think that there are better things to do for humanity than spending the money to feed some poor people in a country you've never been to. And by the way, it's metals, not rocks.
I was about to write something similar. This probably relates to that 'Literacy Limps Into the Kill Zone' article from earlier. People who don't know what a word means shouldn't use it.
When you think of it, DRM is not so incompatible with the bible. The whole tree of knowledge debacle was all about this.
God is all like "No distribution of my IP". Then the Snake is all like "I haves the 0-day". And then Eve is all like "Adam, dude, here's a torrent". Adam to Eve "No way, God will totally rootkit our ass". Eve back to Adam "Chillax, guy". Then Adam is like "K". And God totally kickbans them from the server.
The cilents should also be sued. I'm thinking of this as of someone hiring a hitman. Sure, the hitman did the actual killing, but the guy who hired him is also responsible.
If their clients are also held responsible, it might put a dent in their source of income.
Here in Israel the major cable company pretty much does it all.
You have phone, TV and Internet all going over the same fiber.
I really think the old Telecom/Cable/ISP distinctions are becoming anachronistic, it's all bits over fiber after all.
I, on the other hand, would recommend one.

I didn't know it took so much work to update the logo. =o
Well, if those damned Canadians insist on currupting our youth, we're going to have to liberate their oil rich^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H asses.

That brings up the question of how sane a person who fakes mental illness for a significant portion of his life is.

Well, i distinctly remember their logo on the Mortal Kombat games.
I believe they will be going with 'The dog ate our paperwork' on this one.
You have to see it for yourself.

Guys, are you sure about calling it 'Explorer'?
Sounds a bit 'crashy' to me...
The flying chairs are fine, it's the landing ones you have to watch out for.
If i wanted to verify someone's information, i'd rather do so from a secure database rather than a card he gave me.
Or am i missing something?
If google had its own country, i for one would seriously concider applying for citizenship.
Hey, he's canadian.
Must have been listening to too much Alanis Morissette.

Just don't intentionally lose, it used to drive me nuts when my dad used to do that.
I believe that correct term would be 'Compromised'.
