No it wasn't. Most of the OS was the same; but improved. For example, instead of individual management tools they designed and impleemented the Microsoft Management Console.

Exactly... And Microsoft Management Console (MMC) is available for NT4 as a download from MS's site... I know because I had to download and install it when I installed Norton AntiVirus 2002 Corporate Edition (required for certain Norton AV components).

He used about a 5 foot pvc pipe, so I guess it was pretty fast, since you say that 6 feet gets you approx. 200mph. The way he made it (as far as firing goes) was to use one of those "spin-strikers" from an old coleman camp lantern. And LOTS of Aquanet. It was quite fun :)

Yes, it works under Win2k. One of 3Dfx's last releases was a "decent" Win2k driver. But, on today's games, it doesn't always display things correctly. On XP, you can try and use the Win2k driver, but it is screwy and just plain sux. If you still have one of these cards (like me) you find that it still works best under Win98... I have never tried the "3rd party" drivers by various people that are available on the internet.

I had my Voodoo 5 in my Red Hat Linux box until lately, when I decided I wanted dual head and got a Matrox G450 cheap from eBay (not too bad, it works, but the drivers could use some refinement!).

As for myself, I don't need anything over 1600x1200 @ 85Hz, thus that monitor would do me just fine (and I'd love to have it, if it were free :) LOL)
