    It doesn't make any sense on the face of it, until you recall who the "shareholders" actually are. The shareholders aren't the Wall St riff-raff. Rather the shareholders were the guys on the board of directors, and also Darl McBride. They all stood to make huge $$$ off trashing the company, and they did. Microsoft effectively covered the legal fees paid to Boies Schiller thru a front company if you recall. So ultimately it didn't cost anyone anything - They all got what they wanted and probably made big $$$ too, even MS.

    I wonder who paid for this survey? Because I'm sure it'll come out someday.... I started driving everywhere since 9-11 anyway. Saw the writing on the wall, etc. Gonna have to keep up the pressure re TSA, because frankly the TSA makes me feel very unsafe, simply because they even exist in the first place. And guess what, I happen to *live* in NY...

    You may be interested to know about this paper, remarkable for its perception of the conservative mentality. Its a tad frightening. The author basically posits that conservative mindset is actually based in a psychology that drives society via politics, religion, etc.

    Its not just customers. Its also employees who have been exploited worse and worse for decades. And its not just in IT industry or Silicon Valley - its all of the US employment spectrum. Just look closely over the last 20 or 30 years, you'll see it easy enough.

Never mind the trolls, I say (I can deal with that) its the spammers that *really* annoy me tho.... those links are great for google-bombs and totally fuckup their results. Especially if you can redirect their paypal button to one of them..
