  1. ING DIRECT on Investing Tips for College Students? · · Score: 1

I'm in a similar situation. Best thing I've found, ING Direct. 4.35% interest, with no fee's, no catches, nothing except for good interest. It takes a few days for money to go in or out of your account, but other then that you can access your money rather easily. Even have a good referral system and is FDIC insured. www.ingdirect.com ask if you want a referral, i get 10$ and you get, i think, 25$

  3. Great Movie, saw a screening last night on Revenge of the Sith a "Blood Bath" · · Score: 1

Too bad he made the emperor like Giminy Glick(martin short's tv show). The voice changes pitches like a cartoon character or something, and he laughs like a moron. Quite distracting. Also, i'd suggest waiting a week or three before seeing it once its release. Otherwise you have to deal with all of the morons who cheer and clap at the best parts just because Yoda did a backflip or a wookie made a noise. Overall it was a great movie, better then the first two, with little dissapointment. Somethings could have been better, sure, but overall it was great.

Apparently the level of this guy's brain is way low because he is having major trouble with grammar and sepllign. You think he'd read it over at least once to realize how horrible his style of writing is.

  7. i put hte power supply to the mobo backwards on Your Most Damage-Resistant Hardware? · · Score: 2, Interesting

On my old p133 i was doing some work and i had to reconnect the power supply to the motherboard...well back in those days it was two separate sets of wires to connect, side by side. I though it was black wires on the outside, except the opposite is true.
So anyways i put them on backwards. The thing made a loud buzzing and i though hmm thats stupid, lets turn it off then on again...more buzzing. Lets leave it on and see if it sorts itself out.
a little while later i realized i put the power on backwards. Swap the plugs and bingo, it still mostly worked. I sorta fried the video card, temporarily. I had to swap it out, cause it wouldn't wrok. Tried the video card a week later and everything wroked nearly perfect(the computer could *never* run java applets...go figure)

I agree, this book has been a great guide for me. Its a mandatory book for my operating systems class, where we use linux as a basis for the class. It teaches a very important skill early on, how to use VI. This is something more books should spend time on.

I happened to meet someone selling these the other day at my work. Told me they cost about 30k$ and they sell about 12 a year(at least his place does). Apparently his latest install was to a football players house.
    Wish i could afford one.
