    "The e-paper is coming to reality in the form of a 6" screen" Whoa - wait - hold the phone. Paper does not have a screen and it does not require batteries. E-paper looks like a sheet of paper (but stronger) and is imbedded with tiny spheres that are rotate from the white side to the dark side by a device that looks like a printer but requires no ink. A couple of companies are working on this and they need to sue Sony's arrogant butt!

    Reliblity, always there, always works.

    Filled up my 60 gig drive and many, many CD-R's.

    And I have yet to see any boardband connection that will give me full frame, crisp video at 800x600 or better rez. No needs it!

    I have seen not mention of Windows 95. Of course, we all know that support has ended for that turkey, and seriously, I cannot blame Microsoft for that - it is sooo beyond hope. But I met dweeps who STILL use it and have this attitude that "who cares, I have nothing important on my computer" and do not realize that they could be a spam engine or distributing kiddie porn or part of a terrorist network.

    Spread the word to the mundunes and ungeeked! Windows 95 must die and die NOW!

    A whole bunch of stuff! But you prove my point - Windows must be rebooted often - at least once a daily, for your XP. BTW, I am using W2K Pro. But troubleshooting is well beyond the scope of this thread.

You think because you have some tech skills that is make you God, Jr. and you ignore the fact that different variations of both hardware and software plus the changes that patches on patches make present about as many possibilities as grains of sand on a beach. That one statement completely destorys your credibile both as a technican and as a human being.

    ...of course these pens will be able to help locate the lost one. Wireless trianglion would be one of the first killer apps for this setup.

    What I do not understand is why the CPU would be in a pen. Why not the base with the mass storage, charging supply, and "earth station/gateway" to the Net. Also, a good nanonuke in each one would cull the population of thieves.

    But I recently learn that Western cremation is SIX HOURS of high temperature flaming - natural gas in Texas, I imagine a hell of a lot of fuel oil for you Yankees. That is one hugemo amount of fossil fuel putting greenhouse gases as well as other pollutate that probably exempt from EPA standards.

    I think Michael Valentine Smith may have had the right idea about not wasting meat - pass the ancestors and pass the roast, please!

    This Tom's Hardware is a quick overview of the compression scheme and has nothing about how this is implement by these people. A two hour MPEG-2 movie fits just fine on a DVD with 780x480 resolution but obvious something is quite different when it takes a 75 gigabyte file like CDS does. Goodgawd, what res are they using????
