Yes. But the revolutionaries did not hide in the towns and use women and children as shields. We did not go hiding among Indian tribes hoping that the British would kill some of them and the Indians would fight for our side.
The revolutionaries used guerilla tactics -- acceptable by rules of modern warfare. The Iraqi resistance is using tactics immoral by any rule of modern warfare.
If you honestly think that the US forces go around responding to fire willy nilly without thinking of the political consequences you are severely out of touch with reality.
The tactics themselves are not completely underhanded -- we use similar ones for special operations. The real problem is the way they are employed by our enemies.
Its one thing to be sneaky and shoot at your enemies from hidden locations. Its quite another thing when those hidden locations are surrounded by civilian meat shields. Using non-coms as material is never acceptable in war, guerilla or otherwise.
Umm. This is like one of the most inane posts I have ever read. GPS is a passively transmitted system from space. Giving your kid a GPS receiver will do nothing except let the kid know exactly where he is being kidnapped.
Now, maybe if you equipped your son with a set of orbiting satellites and got a receiver to pick up the signals you would be in business.
So if Saving Private Ryan were remade as a movie about aliens taking over Nazi Germany and probing the French, and the US + Atlantian Alliance retaking it, but included a 10 second clip from actual WWII footage, you would consider it a documentary?
Moore films are pretty much the same way -- its just he doesn't show the aliens or expressly mention them. He'll just hint at them strongly enough to the audience to convince them of his assertion while avoiding a libel lawsuit.
It is your measure of bad that is interesting. Even if the US uses the most amount of resources per capita, a more useful measure of efficiency is the amount of resources/pollution/whatever per unit of production. The US produces far far far more than China in terms of goods and services per given unit of pollution/oil. Guess what else... we also beat out the European countries in that regard. So, basically other countries are consuming resources and doing little with it compared to the US which takes a majority of the rosources and produces a far greater majority of actual production.

Oh... you mean like any time a lawyer is billing you?
Because if you can get a virus to do something it didn't do originally and easily modify it to do something else, that is very dangerous. Imaging common cold + ebola. A stretch, true, but something to think about.

OK. Read your own quotation. Military activity in space of the sort being discussed in the article relates specifically to satellites orbiting the earth.
The quotation you provided refers to the placement of military bases and structures on other celestial bodies. So no bases on the moon or mars. Military activity in space has been around since the very first ICBMs. Read your own damn quote please.
Right... because ROCKET FUEL is much more stable...

Ahem. Only country to use WMDs? Iraq and Iran?

As well as an increase in science production for being a democracy. If you think we're bad now, just wait till we get our offshore platforms.
There already is a EULA. Its called the GPL.

...Hitler, Stalin, and Mao.
Guinness with freeze dried coffee crystals is a favorite of mine. Best way to get up and ready for a day at the office.

In Soviet Russia, nanobacteria make a human cluster to their new beowulf overlords!
What what what? Not using hands? I suppose you'll say I need to go outside or move from my keyboard next?

Where can I get signed up to be "infected" and singlehandedly propagate the cure to the world's population?

And on that note...
KDE SuxXX0rz! GNOME 4Eva!!~!
Yes. I believe its called LinPack. :-)

No. I wouldn't. Because that would be stupid.
In Soviet Russia optional comprehends you.
... which would explain why the ISS is dying (as Netcraft and the random 'metallic bang' sounds confirmed)
Does this mean we can make a beowulf cluster of XBox on my computer running linux running bochs?
