    Doesn't this pose a risk for effectively DOS'ing all hotmail users? Just create a script to aggregate Hotmail accounts through google and send complaints? Thats mildly annoying.

    This is not good for MS. Releasing two consoles so close together without backwards compatability? Wow. If they kept the compatability I would actually predict XBOX2 to make a splash, but early adoption, lack of development tools, and no backwards compatability? Can you say Itanium?

    I don't actually give a crap 'what' the effect will be, all I'm saying is that weapons like this, in the hands of heartless pscyho-criminals like the ones the U.N. War Machine is producing, would be a bad thing, whatever the use.

    Justify it however you want, but the U.N. is producing stupider and stupider humans faster than it is producing smarter and smarter weapons.

    Yeah. You're right. We should get rid of patrol cars too. Always creeping around harassing citizens assuming people are guilty. Cops should be legally restricted to only responding to requests for help lest they accidently aggravate someone trying to get away with something shady.

    Oh. And if you live in constant fear of the government, then you're doing something wrong. If you are obeying the law then you have little to fear due to that great judiciary you referred to.

    Can you please explain to me how having cameras IN A PUBLIC PLACE somehow infringes on "freedom"? And as for privacy, its called PUBLIC for a reason.

    Can this be abused? Sure. But I would be more fearful of normal, human, cops watching me do stuff due to their subjective nature. The human mind is easily suggestable whereas video tape is not so readily altered. This is the reason videotaped confessions are becoming a legal requirement in many circumstances.

    Not at all. For profit is just about how proceeds are handled within the company. Non profit CEOs can still make plenty of money and pay their employees well. Its more or less just a tax code definition rather than the charity type connotation that you seem to associate with the term.

    That would work great, if it weren't for subconcious actions. I am one of those weird people who highlight things they are reading almost compulsively -- not as I read along, but sentence at a time. It is really frustrating to copy something, do some reading, and suddenly find you're pasting 3 lines of text into your browser's address bar.

    This parent is so right on. The Chinese should be lauded for their attempt to ensure accurate and truthful videogames. I see a parallel between this situation and that of the warners of global warming. If there weren't movies like 'The Day After Tomorrow' to reeducate the public and keep them informed of the real and looming danger of global warming, I would indeed fear for the world. Long live the Middle Kingdom!

    Right. Except that if you are indefensibly guilty, then it is in everybody's best interest if you take the plea. I mean. These guys knew what they were doing. They were trying to give the government the finger and see them in court. Problem is, government called their bluff. Everything's fun and games until someone gets hurt.
