It's a church driven, lie based strawman used to hide the endemic corruption and nepotism that keeps russia perennially out of first world status, despite having enormous human and natural resources.

    It's probably due to Putin being gay.. as the majority of vehemently antigay people tend to be badly repressed.

    Suppose you had an idea for a new political system, or are a popular outsider planing to run for public office, what a pity that you were unfaithful to your wife, how the media found out.. who knows.

    Solution, just like the rest of the world's small predators, eat insects. Much higher protein, lower fats (especially saturated), extremely short birth to harvest times, and much less environmental impact per kilo of protein.

    Done a bit more reading, seems it is also correlated with an increase in a certain strain of bacteria in the animal's digestive systems, one that seems to be more efficient at obtaining usable calories from food.

    They make the cow fatter because cows are not meant to eat corn, corn gives them stomach ulcers, the antibiotics make sure the ulcers do not cause them health issues, so the increased calorie density of corn feed means the cows gain weight more consistently.

    I conclude you're an idiot.

    Fact 1. You mention vaccination, colds and flu. Those are 100% viral, no bacteria involved.

    Fact 2. It's not popular antibiotics, it's effective without nasty side effects.

    Fact 3. Some are left, very few new antibiotics are being researched or developed, as it is not profitable

    About the only sensible thing you've said is about the overuse of antibacterial soaps, hand sanitizers would be a much better choice if you were doing work where sterility is important, otherwise plain soap and water will do an excellent job.

    So you've moved sterilization into the works, you haven't eliminated it.

    That said, I grow organic, I really don't like hydroponics, or oil based ferts (or pesticides), so I'm probably a bit biased.

    Actually, 150+ years ago in Italy wine was not primarily an intoxicant, it was non insignificant part of their daily caloric intake (quite probably valid in France and Spain as well). Beer in Europe was one of the few ways to avoid waterborne disease before proper sanitation existed.

    Scotch and other things, yeah, I think you have a point there.
