One day you will all wake up and realize that Microsoft Windows 2000 is as stable if not more than Linux. While I have no first hand experience I also hear that Windows XP is stable as well.
It's unfortunate you are all so closed minded about this. I guess you will all continue to use an inferior system until your productivity slides below that of your Microsoft using co-workers and you all lose your jobs.
This of course only applies to those of you over the age of 15.
I don't see what the big fuss about spamming is. On any given day you receive crap in your physical mailbox at home that you don't want or didn't ask for. How is it different on the computer?
And don't tell me that lame excuse of 'bandwidth costs money' blah blah blah. So does taxes which supplement the USPO and so does trash removal. At least deleting spam on the computer is free.
1. In both cases, open sores proponents/slashdot nerds are getting their panties in a bunch.
2. The terrorists use TransGaming to hide their money from the government.
3. TransGaming is injecting malicious code into all open sores projects to change licensing so they can take over the open sores market. This newly created company will then take over Microsoft, in turn taking over the world.

I heard some sad news on the radio the other day. Seattle Slew, the beloved 1978 Triple Crown winner, DEAD at age 28. I think it is appropriate for us all to entertain a moment of silence as tomorrow is the Preakness - I'm sure all the little hotties in the infield will be thinking of the stud when they lift their shirts.

As a side note, this has been on CNN's website all day - Slashdot sure is great about reporting other people's news.
Perhaps you all need to realize that most of the people using the internet are using it to do bad things.
If skipping out on due process to stop someone from harming myself or other - I could care less.
I choose to use Microsoft products because they are better and easier to use than any open source alternative.
I could care less what the people who work there do, as long as the programmers keep bringing the best solutions to the consumers.
Why would Sun go and ruin a good thing like Solaris by even considering such a poorly designed and useless excuse called Linux?
