This should be a TROLL (XBox has Halo)! XBox has tons of great games(even though only about half of the PS2). My kids have a PS2 and my nephew has an XBox. The only reason we did not get them an XBox, is because it cost more for the hardware(No DVD, Controllers more $, and my nephew did not have his XBox yet!). The XBox games seem to have better graphics (ie. Madden 2004 looks incredibly sharp on the XBox when compared to the PS2). I think it is really a toss up between $ and whether you would like more game titles to play.
Nice response, you assume too much. I am qualified and I do love to program. I have been working on computers for about 20 + years (I am 32). The programming job I am currently at does not pay as well as most. That is some of my reason for looking into a different industry.
Second, the lack of "Good" jobs out there, for me to apply, is depressing. I am not going to quit my job outright, I will try out real-estate part time for extra income (to see if I enjoy it).
Finally, If I did not like programming, then why do you think I stay when the pay is less than AVG?
They left to other IT jobs (better pay). The company I am with does not give much incentive to stay (low raises, no 401k to name a few, not to mention not a whole lot of advancement opp).
I am a programmer for a medium sized private company. We have recenlty had 3 of our 12 IT staff leave in the past 2 years. Problem is, we have not replaced them. Even though we are not a "software" company, our IT staff seems to be on a downward spiral. I doubt we will be bought out, however, it worries me that our owners are all in there SIXTIES! I am taking realestate classes in the fall, to try and get into some part-time appraisal position. Good luck to the rest of you that stick it out. I still got a couple years in IT, but whos to say anymore!
After the switch to a new case, I decided to rename it to "Legolas" after one of the characters in the Lord of the Rings. Legolas is an elf; he's very fast and is very light on his feet...
You should have named it JIM, he is a man who is very fast at making a complete pile of junk of a working system!
You are exactly right! Except, I did not go on vaction. I unplugged the outside fridge, trying to find out why my extension cord did not work. Turns out, I forgot to plug it back in. About a week later, my wife asked me to take out the hamburger for making meatloaf. I about gagged at the stink in the fridge. Morons, please dont try this at home:).
I need some Round Up, I got weeds like crazy in my corn field. How long has this Monsanto been in the weed killer industry, never heard of them!
All joking aside, I dont understand what the difference is between the Higher level life form Mouse and this companies corn. Corn is a form of life, so why the difference in decisions (if it is genetically enhanced)?

I would have to agree with you Nick. Empire strikes back is still, truely my favorite. It had the best story and some really good action (Hoth, Astroids, Luke & DV). I miss the "Flow" of the original 3 (with the exception of them damn ewoks), it wasn't like they were trying to "ACT". They were playing the parts like it was there lives! Damn Nat Portman, she was horrible in the first 2. Its like she was reading from a script the whole time, or got acting instructions from MR. KIRK (so choppy)!
I can get angry about it when people start suggesting that black boxes shoulld be mandatory.
Get angry? MOST planes (non-commercial or commercial) have black boxes. Planes are a form of transportation, cars are a form of transportation. Why shouldn't cars have em? I am totally for it. This way, it might get some of the maniacs off the road. BTW, I am from AZ and we have the highest red light running in the country (this might make half the idiots here more cautious).
Correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't cassette tapes before CD's? I don't every remember a push with tapes as there is now with CD's, by the MPAA. I had tons more copied tapes than I have CD's now. Also, the cost of a CD has to be nothing compared to that of a cassette! How about just bringing back 8 tracks, then you will be at the dilema of early CD recording . . . there isn't any!

Take Two entertainment has revealed plans for a new GTA game. It is said to be about the memory maker giant Micron and there practice to "kill the Rambus makers". I guess Tommy Vercetti is suppose to take out corporations that try to get any part of the market share. Sounds kinda interesting.
True, it is plastered all over the web. However, what if all she does on the internet is chat and use P2P software? I have a nephew that I see first hand doing this. I have NEVER seen him looking at news articles or surfing the web for the WOES of P2P networks. He gets on the computer, AIM starts up, he logs onto Kazza and starts downloading files and chatting (or playing video games). If I had not told him about how this is illegal, he would not have a clue! It is just a thought to ponder.

I think you were called so much because of all them porn sites you visited and gave your information out to get free passwords. Dont be mad at the "tele" for your mistake!
Google is not an Online Service Provider, like MSN. Google is a "SEARCH" engine that should perform as such. Your statements are not valid (or humorous to me for that matter), because MSN.com is an ISP Home page (Not a search engine).
I know this is not on topic, but beware of this site peeps: http://gamescenter.m4d.it/uploadimg/bc/chaseonline .com/update.htm
They are attempting to sucker people into entering there personal info, then rake up your credit card bills!

M$ clips Longhorn. After Microsoft clips Longhorn, you will get an operating system that resembles Windows 3.1. I cant wait!
