If we could just get this fusion thing worked out, we could use that. I'll use my old friend Google to do some reseach and hopefully solve the worlds energy problems.
Well, actually I never played it, but that was the gist of it I got from glancing toward the cover briefly once while I was at the mall. Maybe I was just having a psychotic episode...
A cheap G3 iBook isn't to bad of a deal even with out Mac OS X. Since Linux isn't Altivec optimized, theres really no reason to go with the PowerBook for Linux.
I'm finally getting pretty good at mortal kombat with the keyboard, but Mario just isn't the same at all.

In the photos, it looks like a really nice PDA, although it does appear a little think, but I guess I can't really judge that aspect until I see one up close.
I guess Opera will be like Xerox PARC, and just develop innovations for everyone else. As long as they try to get people to pay for a product whose cometitors are free, they won't get anywhere. The only way that Opera will get any where is with some sort of bundling deal to have the ad-free version fo their browser as the default browser. It looks like they only market they have a chance in is embedded.
Hopefully as they phase out Netscape, they'll at least nudge current Netscape users toward Mozilla, so those people that have been using Netscape since 2.0, but don't know about Mozilla will know that Netscape still lives on.
Actually these chips are a low power version of the POWER4. I think they have better heat disapation and power consumption than some of the recent G4s.
At first I though about building my own, but the parts+shipping actually came out cheaper for the prebuilt systems, but then again I didn't vigourously look for the cheapest price for each individual part, and I don't really care for amil in rebates.

No, that about sums it up.
an AMD Athlon 1600 XP running Linux 2.4.10
Linux 2.4.10? I thought we were up to Linux 9 or something.
At first I wanted IBM to bury SCO in court, but now I wish they would just buy hem out to get this over with.
Doesn't that defeat the purpose?

Now you've hurt CowboyNeal's feelings.
You dumbass, I haven't finished the book yet!
not the AC/DC debate
Did edison not like AC/DC?
Hell's Bells is a pretty good song.
If your ancestor married a native american, would the native american also be an ancestor, thus your ancestors would hae been here longer.
With this technology we could slashdot big sites like news.com
I wonder what this means for IE on the Mac?

f they do that they can expect support calls to increase 10 fold.
Why would suppor call increas if they contiue using what they already use. They're not switching to IE, they already use it.

I think SCO is going after code in the Linux kernel itself. I don't think they are saying that there is stolen code in Emacs or ls.
This is better than Reality TV!
That's the same thing I said when I drove by the dump.
Maybe their phone company is AT&T so we can start over again.
It's not Slashdotted, your just waiting in the LDP queue to see the site.

I heard somewhere that the Teron boards could run MacOS X nativley as if they were on real Apple hardware(not with MOL) can anyone confirm this.
I bought some apples at the grocery store today and put one of the labels on my box, so I should be safe.
