They can't simply phase out 35mm movies if Movie Theaters don't buy digital projectors to show their movies. If they try to force the issue it will definitely affect their bottom line and we all know no one is stupid enough to cut their own air supply.

It seems theaters are refusing to buy those digital cameras and rightly so. They definitely have the upper hand.

I would liken this situation to that of DVDs and VHS. The base for VHS is just too big of a base to simply abandon. DVDs are becoming more affordable and people are buying them like hotcake now. Same thing will happen when digital projectors become inexpensive.

You all should get out of your left wing biases for a second to realize that Nader isn't well respected in many circles. He is reviled as a Socialist nutcase by the Right and Libertarians at a minimum as a general rule consider him to be a clueless luddite (hmm isn't that being redundant?)

I've always liked what he had to say but never actually voted for him because I didn't think he had a chance to win. In the next election I will in fact vote for him. A lot of people are tired of the Democrats and will vote Green.

Remember people, Bush and his people decide WHERE the money will be spent, Congress merely allocates it.

You slept through your high school government class didn't you?

Congress can introduce legislation deciding WHERE money can be spend and have the president sign it. The president can refuse and veto it but even a freshmen congressman can present appropriation bill to the floor.

But since you automatically place all people who don't think just like you and share your politics in the idiot category, you probably see the BBC as a source of journalistic integrity and honesty or maybe even right wing.

All I was saying is that if you are going to call a whole group of people weak minded you should look at your own back yard first.

Here what the right wing stand for:
    1. No gun control whatsoever...they can't even wait a lousy 3 days to get their hands on a gun.
    2. They apposed genetic research.
    3. To them global warming is a fabrication.
    4. You are automatically labeled a communist if you want to help other people.
