You can read the time of an analog watch a lot faster than of a digital one. Assuming you have been trained in reading them of course.

What I find incredibly hard though is finding an analog watch that at least uses a minimum of modern technology to keep track of date, summer time and such.

Not entirely correct. We have both higher incomes and higher taxes in Scandinavia than in the US. When I look at a US income I have to figure in a much lower tax to make it look attractive.

In the low and middle-end incomes in Scandinavia (90% of the population) have more money to spend, and higher incomes less money. Though on a _collective_ average people in the US are richer.

No. The one demand the Japanese had for surrender was that the emperor was not procecuted for war crimes after the surrender. This was granted after their surrender anyway..

So the Japanese did propose to surrender to terms acceptable by the US prior to the US dropping the bombs. Forcing the Japanese to surrender had nothing to do with it.

This is not entirely clear, but it seems Google is abusing their near monopoly on search to strong arm their position in a new market of News.

Their have been ordered to remove other peoples news from their news service, and have decided to additional punish the source by also removing them from the search index.

I really thing Google should be allowed to link any news together in a news service, but escalating the issue to searching is really abusive and something I am quite sure they will be punished for in Europe. (Besides the obvious fact that it IS EVIL).
