1. Stirling engines are too bulky . While efficient heat engines they are not practical . They have been used once in project by detroit but didn't produce much power. Power is key, what everyone wants.
2. Circuits compared to reverse logic are probably inefficient but the heat comes from Clock speed and thinner interconnects and poor insulators(dielectrics at present sizes).
This is the reason for the push for spintronic transistors . google that.
The immediate issues at hand are whether or not VOIP telephony providers should be subject to the same rules and regulations as traditional phone companies. And, if not, what kind of rules are appropriate for these providers. Key areas of debate center around whether VOIP providers must offer an E911 service, pay into the universal service fund, and enable government agencies to tap VOIP calls (known as CALEA-compliance) for homeland security purposes
Complicating the picture even further are the incumbent telecom providers that see VOIP as a giant threat to their installed business and are in no rush to see these services heralded into the mainstream. "The price of these new services is drastically cheaper, and the quality is almost as good," says Kelley Drye's Price. "It's a massive threat to the incumbents."
1. Go after SCO's customers that use linux and tell them that they will be sued unless they STOP paying the SCO license.
2. Go after Sco customers that don't use linux and warn them that the SCO operating system may have GPL code in it and they will be fined a million dollars.
Attack where Mcbride attacks.
Linux users can also participate by emailing the SCO's big $$$$ Clients and warning them that you wont buy their product.
Sitting back for court cases is not what Mcbride is doing and neither should people that believe in open source.
Capitalists blast open source calling it communist. But I don't understand how they could be against when it lowers costs which they are always promoting . It's funny the irony.

First the phone companies will fall. Which is good
because they have been gouging for a long time
then the cable companies hopefully. These two
industries are in their twilight of existence.
When Fiber to the curb happens with government
municipals leading the way we will see the biggest
revolution since the invention of radio and the
telegraph. A big IF though is our government
leadership supporting it and not supporting the
dinosaur industries that keep us in the past.
