I made a short documentary film about SETI last year covering the origins of the SETI search, Drake's equation, the various groups involved, and people's opinions about SETI. Maybe some of you might find it interesting. Its a 25 MB download in Quicktime format and you can find it here:

Enjoy!
This is true, I did indeed have a girlfriend who liked to look at porn. She had Penthouse centerfolds posted on her bedroom walls, although she was good looking enough herself that I never remember being distracted by them.
As for the gamer stereotype, I think it only applies to a small percent of people who play video games. I only play video games on weekends, and even then only for an hour or two. Life is too short to waste it all on games, but nothing wrong with some video game playing. I'm 28 and everyone I know in my age group can remember "Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right..."
Let the rich waste their hard earned tax breaks (thanks Bush) on blowing themselves up? Abso-frickin'-lutely! Maybe they can help us explore the surface of the sun! As long as the have their last wills filled out first.
Go Natural Selection!
I got Eathlink service over Time Warner cable lines, so a Time Warner tech showed up to install. I could tell he hadn't the foggiest when he sat down at my G4 and began slowly running the mouse over the dock to see the names of my programs. He paused just for a moment over the Virtual PC icon, so I felt a pang of pitty for the guy and showed him how to open the System Prefs. In three clicks I had it all set up. He left a disk with the Earthlink software, which is quite good, but rather useless for me. At least I had the option to install or not. I wonder if he would have tried to install it in Virtual PC? He would have been in for a surprise since I only have it to run some old DOS games!
Search the website for email addresses, then surf on over to google and search for "email newsletter signup" and put in the email addresses you found. If they like worthless files, lets help them stock up. This is also a good way to extract revenge on spammers. Gives them a dose of thier own medicine.
I've been suffering from the shakes since As The Apple Turns (http://www.appleturns.com) went off the air last month and now MacSlash, too! Excuse me while I hide under the covers from the baby Steve Jobs that's crawling on my ceiling. Wait maybe if I go to Apple's Hot News page and keep hitting reload I can get a fix...
Summary says it "won't be built for transporting people", also was a personal attack really necessary "you fucknut" ?
I totally agree, there are plenty of great developers already here in the 'burgh to choose from.
Praise Bob!
The summary mentions choice of pensions. What the fark is a pension? Never heard of this before.
To be fair, I am demanding that US Attorney Tim Morrison post his own bank account and credit card numbers online.
