It's now completely outdated, considering voting machines could be connected to a central server via 'TEH INTARNET' and allow us to check out a neat little website which gives you the results on the fly.

I admit, I'm not a really a huge console gamer (except when it comes to Halo, and all you anti-Xbox trolls can suck an egg). Yet why would you want to play a GBA game on the big screen?
I guess people will do it just because they can, but if you're going to play a low quailty side-scroller, why not play something on the good ol' NES or SNES. About the same quality, and you get that whole nostalgia value too...
Or you could play Halo, while drinking Steel Reserve 211, like a real man.
Anyone else think it's fishy to say Intel has won the war when they are comparing essentially a 1.8 GHz AMD chip to a 2.8 GHz Intel?!
The AMD 1.8 KNOCKS THE SOCKS off of the Intel 1.8 and i'm sure that when the AMD 2.8 GHz processors arrive, they will dominate anything Intel has availible.
This is the main reason I REFUSE to believe anything that comes off of Tomshardware.com. It may look like the Intels won benchmark-wise, but just remember, this comparison is like racing a new Jetta against a new RX-8.
Seems like a good plan, until you look at disaster scenarios. What happens to this immensly expensive engineering feat if something does happen?
I think in this situation, a 'chunnel' or something like it would make more sense, not just because it would be more durable, but because a big bridge like this will disrupt shipping lanes during construction, and possibly dangerous to ships after it is completed.
Not to mention it would be a target for terrorists faster than you can say "strategery".

The main difference is that Ma Bell was a national monopoly, whereas these companies would only be monopolies in certain areas.
