Even though i am just starting programming, I would prefer a language that is more abstract. I think it allows for faster programming. Just tell me if I am wrong.
In the post it says they ban the use of them in cars. Does that mean no using cell phones inside a car, no holding a cell phone while driving, or what?
Will this bring around a whole new wave or DIY computer cases and OC'ed Handhelds? Roll your own PDA distro! Call it Tux for your tux!

So a balde server is sort of like a pie but in reverse. Instead of making it smaller you make it bigger by adding some more stuff, but you still share the same pan.
I am in 8th grade, and i think it would be the
coolest thing to have a network of non-regular computers (ie Macintosh Power PC's) running Linux. You might want to wait a little bit, like until you get more experience or even if you get moved up. 5th grade is probably the earliest youll see results that are worth the time effort and money.

I know this will probably never happen, but what would be the upsides/benefits to a universal number- ie a number that goes to your cell and your home phone and maybe even your work phone. You could even take it further by integrating it into other services like.Net
Did your school give any special rates if you bought from dell? my cousin goes to Penn State and he got something like 5 or 10 percent off any computers he ordered there.
Has anyone calculated the price per inch of flat screen monitors and of CRT's. It would be interesting to compare those rates to monitors 6 months ago.
I am a 8th grade student at a Middle School who is running the yearbook team. I am the sole user of a G3 with the 21 inch CRT display. I love the computer for what it is, and I am even gladder now that I can ask my advisor to order Jaguar from that site for me. Right now the G3 is crashing twice a week, and i want to have some more peace of mind, espcially so I do not have to upload the pictures and templates every night.

How hard/costly/innefficient would it be to build a LAN out of this? If it is higher than 802.11b, wouldnt it be a better network? I am a kid, so just tell me if this was a stupid idea.
If you want stuff like that, turn on TechTV or go to their site. They are running a story on a elevator that travels from surface to the bottom of the ocean.

I hope they use something like Newton's hand recqonition. I know I'm preaching to the choir, but i think thats the best one out there at this time.
