i cant see how steganography can anonymize a connection and hide a transaction when the end point is public knowledge. it is also not trivial to categorize a data stream as encrypted or not so further discussion isnt needed.

Patents and Software Patents are a problem due to the limitations thats imposed. There would be no problem if there was restrictions in respect to original ownership and limited commercial gain only. At the end of the day the system as it stands overly protects commercial interests and overly limits human interactions.
Real artists want everyone to enjoy their performance regardless of monetary reward. Real artists are also pirates that have chosen to spend their money wisely. Real artists are not complaining about supposed theft of digital copies because the poor artist is well-known.

This is sortof like the fridge that keeps track of its contents but would be a lot more convenient. It could be used by small shops to track their stock also - maybe a personal and business edition of the software would be cool.
