Optus is an Internet Content Provider no matter what they say. Optus implement port blocking, port throttling and transparent proxying which affects your Internet connectivity.
Optus provide a very fast service but its a pain to use and I prefer dialup now because its real connectivity [I can connect to anything and host a service even if its at 5Kb/s].
I will always make sure port blocking/throttling/caching is avoided by any ISPs I sign up with in future - thats all 'content control'.
Itd be really strange if Mozilla broke my Window Manager or something. What exactly would they need to test it with?
I can understand Internet Explorer needing to be tested against the rest of Windows and its APIs but Mozilla is a stand-alone web browser - as long as the API isnt affected it ['full regression testing'] shouldnt matter too much IMO.
I had the same thoughts about the Gold Coast Indy 10 years ago. They turn the Gold Coast into a race track each year here and leave all the banners and markings there so revheads can hit the track at any time.
For the conversions you might find that OO uses xslproc externally?
If it does [like a few other programs do] then itd be easier to just get the stylesheets to change the XML youve written.
Depends on the materials

If you get a fibro&tin house then it sucks - I lived in one for 10 years.
If you buy one with non-tin roof and sound-proof walls (that you can put a hook into without it falling out) then itd be OK IMHO - Ive seen some like this on the TV.
SonicNet [sonicnet.com] lets you play songs from the MTV database as part of their free radio service - theyve done it for 3 years or so. If you spent time indexing all of the songs available you could have on-demand streaming.;)

Docbook/XML is nice but it needs more formatters - GNU info isnt supported AFAIK.

Thats YOUR opinion.
If I want to fry my CDROM drive with a bit of code then I should be able to fry it - safeguards are for toddlers.
Masses are asses - L7. :)
Thats just stupid saying that.
Who named self-replicating code as 'virus'? They need a logic bomb dropped on them [no it wont destroy a country].
