This is why i think the new Star Wars films suck. Too much attention has been focused on the effects and everything. You need a nice balence between plot and character development and the visual and audio effects.
It seems today that a-list actors and visual effects with high-budget action scenes are all that are needed for a film and that the script is there merely to get the two together. Basically, a script serves the same purpose as it does in a porno!
They're gonna loose. If people have a case against fast food restaurants for making them fat i think they'll have a case against people actually trying to fool their fat-asses.

Economic environment includes everything from piracy to the lack of cash to upgrade hardware and ms software like office and server. I don't see how 1 and 2 are the same.
ill Sony/Verant shut down SWG auctions, like they did the EverQuest Auctions?
It only makes sense to me for them to keep it going. People pay to play to get paid and others who always have to be winners buy this stuff and play who would otherwise get frustrated and fed up and after a shot while not pay!
...who's to say that there might not be spies writting the software anyways. Can't the NSA write their own source code. They've already contributed selinux.
Thanks for the insight. If it was "alien" technology that allowed us to develop microprocessors at such an amazing rate then there's an awfull lot of "civilian" scientists and knowledge involved. I seriously doubt that if aliens could travel here they'd crash, but if they did we'd probably have quantum space distorters and mega death-rays instead.

Darwin is an open source project. Everyone has access to it. There's no real excuse why they can't understand its innermost workings. The darwin source code looks very clean and organized.
My first computer was a C64 and it didn't even have internet. 300 Baud, psssh, i'd be lucky if i had any! Yet alone a hard disk. psssh, back in those days a floppy was actually floppy.
Kids these days are spoiled. Back in the good 'ol days when we all had 14.4 modems and we had to walk fifty miles in snow and ice just to pick it up. If we wanted to talk on the phone, tough luck!
