    In fact, can't you split registers on 32 bit mode to have effectively 2x as amny registeres kinda like you can split registers on x86 and get 2 16 bit ones?

    And if you dont' like Aqua, darwin has better hardware support (FAN CONTROL) and can run X and E or whatever just like a linux system.

    Who cares???

    Is there anything useful that could possibly come from proving that the number of twin primes is infinite? There are tons of smart people that waste time messing with this stuff that could be ding something benifitial to society. It's sad, really.

    The FTP exploit worked in Safari, but not firefox. The disk image one didn't work ion either. The help viewer one only poened the help viewer in both, it never did anything else. The ssh one didn't do anything in firefox and when opened from safari, ssh did open, but died with an error. The second time, nothing happened.

    ATL is the last place these things would sell. First, prople spend so much time in their cars they want it to be comftorble and roomy. Second, this thing has no room for cargo and most people pack for the entire day and need more room. Third, it's not safe to be in this thing especially in a city as full of SUVs as ATL and finally, Americans, Southerners in particular, love out big cars and would never want something this size.

    on my old phone (POS Audiovox) I got awful reception, but with my Motorolla 120C I get good reception pretty much everywhere.

    i ran mine through the dash, into the door, and itnto the door pocket so there is no visible wiring. It on;y took about 1/2 hour to doo all the wiring.

    so you fire off 1300 mails a day/week? That shouldn't trigger an alarm. When you start sending out 100 mails/min constantly, then they shopuld take notice. 1300 mails is nothing compared to what spam zombies send out.

    What I really want is a car head unit that has a slot that one just pops the iPod into.

    Many HU's have a jack in the back which you can buy an adapter for that can connect to an ipod. You can run the wire from that jack to whatever location you want to put the iPod in. My ipod sits in the door pocket where it is nicely out of the way and hidden from theives.

    You need at least 10% free space for windows to keep the fs reasonably defragmented. put some larger hdds in there and it'll work much better

    At least for a while oo.org defaulted to A4. That sucked. Then i got a new printer without a paralell port, so that might have been changed in the past few months.

    Nope, the A4 is a Jetta derivitive. The A6 is the Passat derivitive.

    but if this works on people already infected, testing is gonna be a hell of a lot easier since the patient's fucked anyway, so it's no big deal if this treatment causes them problems way down the road.

    Here's an HIV question:
    Why can't they make a vaccine that's just the protein coat with no DNA inside. is it too small to trigger an immune responce, or what?

    It's a program with a word icon that does rm -rf ~. The article doesn't even say how big the file is, but i'm willing to bet it was only a couple kb.
