Guy moves fake ATM into position at the mall....hangs a sign on it that says "Temporarily Out of Order - Deposits Only -- Give Deposits to Guard on Duty".

When Jesse on Monster Garage builds a linux powered chicken-sexer out of a crash-test dummy I'll be impressed...until then, these things are just a pimple on Torvald's ass.
without a good display...? You mean like the large LCD screen TV my 'other' is connected to? While you're squinting to see what the song title is, I'm looking at image slide shows, cover art and movies off my computer...all on my large screen home theater.
Wired readers wouldn't give a shit about that but people reading this sure do...
Quite the snob & demographic man-about-town today, aren't we:) - that's the funniest line I've seen in days!! But you're right. The average./ reader is such the bottom feeder when it comes to doing things right.
Your cave living means you failed to notice the ones worth buying are all platform independant. Linux, OS X...anything w/a browser can access and admin.
In my area, many of the car break-in's are targeting vehicle registrations and proofs-of-insurance...the cars themselves are generally of lesser value.
When you can copy a car as easily as a document, the car master (think DVD) will become the target, and that will be the time when copies of vehicles become something to liscense, unless of course, you build your own, like many of us already do today.

Paste that link in a new window and you don't go to ebay...why?
Way too many folk look at google thru rose colored glasses. Poor innocent google.
Assuming google shines at all is going too far in my book.
Disagree? Then explain why so many of the links I click on to buy things direct me to ebay, instead of the site I expect. If I cut/paste that link into a fresh window, it goes where it should. And this is just one issue...there is still the problem of sites buying a ranking from google instead of earning like they should. google is crafted, bought and falsified rankings run wild - give me an unbiased search engine/site any day.
Archos never had Firewire, so the iPod clearly does more, namely being able to transfer files and recharge over the same (data & power) cable. The iPod does things the Archos has and never will do. That's why it is celebrated, and the shelves are still full of Archos units gathering dust:)

The first people to drive motorcycles were considered stunt drivers, and were actually sedate compared to today's two-wheeled commuter. Stunters today are simply an indication of what can be done...where that goes is usually beyond our feeble imaginations.
The first time ABS and airbags save your life, or the life of someone you love, you'll be less jaded about technology and other drivers.
I wait with bated breath for when you will actually care to inform us about what you are blathering about. No, wait....I don't.

The issue isn't tracking the drivers. The issue is that this is one big step towards robotic plows that don't need drivers.
The drivers know this, and fear being replaced by machines, not being tracked.
There is no such thing as a stealth snow-plow.

So successful bashing is based on plurality alone? You mean comment bias doesn't exist? You live in Florida, right?
You're a marketer's dream (10 out of 15 respondents swear our product is best!!! ).
It was a lame product then and it's a lame product now. There are many other products doing more for less.
does a much better (professional) job of reviewing things like this, by the way.
That works, until you have several cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats and airplanes :)
What about those states that tow/impound the vehicle if you're not carrying proof of insurance? No proof....off the road and call a friend.
Nice idea, until the cops want to see them and you've left them in the back pocket of your jeans that are going round and round in the washer.

...ah, yes...controlled descent :) Modulated panic if the altitude warning buzzer goes off. Stab the rear and back to earth.
Front brake is a recipe for disaster
Not for sport bikes. Must be why there are two large discs on the front, and one small one on the rear, eh? I never touch mine.
The rear is just for sliding thru turns...other than that, you can forget it's even there.
...what would keep it from endoing instantly?
I'm betting on the same thing that prevents panic lookups today...ABS. I also agree that the landing gear would come into play somehow.
:) That would be the optional 'race only' tire, where you can scrape off compound w/your fingernail....heheheh.
