    I won't be replacing my TV/VCR/DVD/whatever anytime soon. Not until I absolutely have to. The kids watch the cartoon network and Nick. The TV news for me isn't going to change when it goes digital - the talking heads will look the same. Plus the local cable co. charges more for digital cable than analog.

    Linux will not really take off until you see Linux compatable software on the shelves at Best Buy, Circuit City, etc. And not just a little corner on one shelf, but a major percentage of the shelf space.

    I don't know how much difference this is really going to make. Political campaigns, charities, ANY organization that you have done any prior business with are exempt.

    I think sometimes they add the scenes into the movie just to increase the rating(from PG to PG-13 for example) because they feel that more people will want to see it, not because it is essential to the plot. Also local standards in Hollywood may be different than in other locations.

    What good is it? I have the MS Java disabled under Internet Options - am I really missing anything? I hope I won't be forced to install Java, or anything else from SUN or there is a way to disable it once it's installed.
