Doesnt this just make you want to fail a semester or two so you can stay in college to get the educational discount:) If it had no affect on my grades and/or my after-college plans, id most certainly stick around for another semester or two.
Hey, im all about Quake, its one of my favs to play. But then again...it is 830 in the morning (atleast where i am) im sure all the Quake addicts are sleeping by now.
Its nice to see that finally researchers are proving that games arent really as bad as everyone thinks. Sure they can take up time, but they also help relieve lots of stress. And myself being a girl, its nice to see the percent of girl gamers rising. I even read in that article about a girl game-character developer whose trying to make some game characters more geared towards women, which i thought was a nice idea. Hopefully this shows the masses that think all video/computer games are bad, that they really are just human nature to our generation, and we need them terribly:)
I got a second gen iPod for this past Christmas, and though its not the new line, im still really happy with it (10g). The new ones have some really nice features, like the backlight buttons, a thinner overall casing, the dock which is a very nice addition to its accessories.
But, its still not enough for me to trade mine in. These are the firsts of a basically brand new line, and firsts always come with problems. I think it will take another release or two for me to trade mine in.
Im waiting for the promotions to buy a square acre of land on Mars go up!
I mean, doesnt everyone already own one on the Moon? I think Mars would be a much better place to own land.

I totally agree, if i wanted a device that has PDA capabilities, i would buy a PDA:) But since i dont have the use for one and i dont see myself using one hardly ever, this addition doesnt really do much for me.
Yeah im sure its a cool thing to have, but people arent gonna go out and buy a iPod just because it has PDA funtions.
yeah exactly. Ill probably end up buying a lower end G4 just because it doesnt come with a monitor. I have plenty of them and i dont want to waste any more money on them just because i want the tower that it comes with.
I doubt that this could have affected it enough to make the estimates of the number of downloads significantly different. But atleast they found it fast enough and fixed it so it didnt get out of hand.
Though i do not share your opinion about liking Doom the best, (I personally like Raiders) i would also sao that this is one of my favorite trilogies. I was hoping this would come out soon after the Back To The Future DVD Pack.
They already have a car stereo adapter that uses radio frequencies through a transmitter. You can find it at the Apple Store site. Dunno how much more affective it will be as opposed to a plain tape adapter ive been using that i got with my discman a while back. But atleast its there.
Yeah, i miss being that innocent to stuff like that. I used to watch cartoons all the time. Id race home from school to catch TMNT and X-Men, as well as many others i saw on those lists. Its kinda dissapointing going back now and watching them in some ways, with all these spoilers and such. Ohwell, i dont think ill read too many of these so i can atleast try and see them as i used to way back when:)
At home on my "local network" consisting of only one mac(my powerbook), all others being non-mac, means im kina outta luck to take advantage of this. But i can see it being very useful where i work (total mac oriented) with sharing stuff using this instead of having to put it up on the shared server all the time.
yeah, i mean i knew stuff like this will be coming out alot in the near future. but right now it doesnt seem like its really worth using...i dont use pda's cause, well i just use post-its and a small calander book, def. alot cheaper. But im sure sooner or later we will all be carrying screens and stuff around like that. just give it time:)
isnt that what the remote can do already? all you gotta do is clip it to your jacket and boom! dont need to spend 200$ for a jacket, when the remote does the same thing basically.
very true, i luv FCP, i use it at work alot. I even made a movie for a class last semester and ended up doing alot in final cut instead of premiere. Its a great program and it well worth the extra $.
ok so maybe its true. though im not a member of Gen-X, i was born in 1981. So what generation am i? It seems like they stopped naming them after X. Ive always wondered what my generation is. anyone know?
