Funny thing about that saying; I was watching my mate's dad put together a bookcase once, and he would hammer the screws in about 3/4 of the way and then tighten them conventionally. I thought it was a bit weird, but he seemed to think it was a perfectly adequate method of construction.
Also, if you access the context menu for a tab (right click on windows), it doesn't bring that tab to the top. So you can right click + close tab as well as 'middle' clicking but the latter is v.convinient.
I for one welcome built-in spell checking.
Surely I'm not the only one who thinks that...

I'm surprised no one has mentioned the possibility of getting attractive people to hand out free CDs and associated czaczka in major town centres.
But we're talking about users fixing problems that users are experiencing. Therefore smacking the user in this case means the user smacking themselves.
Any human with two anatomically correct hands who knows the shape of the letter L and that said letter stands for left should be able to
tell left from right.
One traditional style I particularly like is Góralska Muzyka (Highlander's Music) from the Polish Tatras. Generally played on fiddles and bass and sung, however there are a few contemporary groups who incorporate modern instruments like guitar, drums and turntables.
The XmlHttpRequest functionality doesn't allow "random network access"
XmlHttpRequest doesn't allow XSS but Dynamic Scripting does, e.g. I haven't tried using Dynamic Scripting to access local domains / addresses but it does work for non-originating sites.
Also, I don't believe that IE does allow Cross Site AJAX.
Well not quite foolproof but I remember reading an article that claimed to be an interview with one of the original AV software creators. I apologise in advance for getting the specifics messed up.
Basically he said the first incarnation was like a whitelist of processes that were allowed to run. I guess that when you installed myFavProg.exe you had to add it to the list somehow. He claimed that this made the computer nigh impossible to pwn. The problem was they couldn't find a business model that would allow them to make enough money off of it so they created what became one of the big AV apps and adopted the subscription model for virus signature updates; Evil bastards. I wonder if their original concept is still workable?
I work for a large VoIP SP and I can say that Trixbox isn't the LAMP stack of the Telephony market (at least yet).
Personally I'm surprised that, in a ~1000 post thread on this topic, No one has brought up T-Shirt Hell's Free Speach or Free Travel Offer!
You might like one of these then.

Hey Vicky.
Yeah, and you could just print it out on that special paper whenever you felt like it anyway.
PS: I think you'd like the halfbakery if you don't already know about it.

I would learn more and get more done if I weren't married with children but I'm v.happy with my family.
