It's similar in germany, at least as far as the acceptance of ccTLD (.de) domains are concerned. I'd guess that at least 99.9% of all domain names that you see mentioned in advertising, commercials etc. are under.de, and it's probably even more than that.
My AS/400s self detect hardware problems, phone IBM to report the problem, and a tech is dispatched. The IBM support centre phones me to tell me the system detected a problem, and that a tech is on the way.
IANAL, but no. The user didn't actually do anything - it was just his computer that was used to send spam. If I kill someone with your gun, you don't go to jail for that, either.:)
At least that's the way it *should* be.
*s* That sounds like you're a member of the first camp (those who broke through the learning curve and are not devoted followers of E). ^_~
Seriously, though, what is the big shift in paradigm that E17 is supposed to bring?
Why is it that most people seem to be either totally devoted followers of Enlightement who will jump at you if you ever dare question that Enlightenment is the one and only window manager and the answer to all questions ever asked, or the exact opposite - people who hate Enlightenment with a passion and would like to see it and its developers rot in hell forever?
I mean... it's a window manager, just like many others, and it's not radically different, either (or at least not more radically different than others, like blackbox etc). What is it about Enlightenment that people get so worked up about?
I don't quite believe that Google would've limited themselves that way (using 32 bit identifiers for documents) - that would've been incredibly short-sighted.
All the newsgroup posting that Larry person has made (4) come from finnish hosts. It's only two different IPs, so it's hard to say whether this actually means anything, but it does make you wonder, ne? Did he just use cracked boxes to make those posts, or does he actually live in Finland? In the latter case, the police could probably find him relatively easily, considering one of the computers is also the webserver of a finnish school.
Maybe we could make and distribute a "make love not sollog" screensaver that DDOSes that site. ^_~
I'll bet against you.
Must be a conspiracy. :)
... that onetz. >_> ^.^
Time to move on. And, while we're at it, let's skip SHA1 etc. as well and go directly to SHA512. That should last for a while.
What does it cost? I can't seem to find any information on that on IBM's website...
Pity.
What about existing users of the screensaver? Will it continue to work (i.e., flood spam sites)?

s/Not/Now/. >_
Wow. Not *that* is seriously cool.

Only because you never met my parents.
One line of code per 15 minutes? I'd sure like to know what language that'd be...

Sadly, yes. Let's hope that the prospect of becoming a EU member will convince turkish politicians to stop things like this.
Googling for "fraunhofer mp3" yields this as the first hit: http://www.iis.fraunhofer.de/amm/techinf/layer3/
Since you asked for the correct spelling: Fraunhofer.
The donations are actually used to pay Toad to work full-time on freenet.
Ian Clarke? Shouldn't he be busy with getting Freenet to a usable state?
Amen to that.
At the very least. 460 TB is just 460,000 GB; even Kazaa has more than that.
