    It seems to me that reading a "reputable" financial publication would fall under "the weakest analysis".

    Steve Perlman, inventor of WebTV and lead developer of Apple Inc.'s QuickTime, paid a visit to Washington to encourage Congress to defeat the Patent Reform Act.
    Clearly, this guy is a patent troll trying to profit off of those who make good technologies.

    One of the best self-made solutions I've heard of is a custom bootloader image (pretty easy to do in grub). It displays a picture of the owner, his or her name, and a phone number to contact if the laptop is found. It'll be the first thing the pawn-shop clerk sees when they turn it on to test it out.

    In fact, they don't even have lenses!
    Lenses reflect light, making photography much harder. It's pretty common practice to use fake ones for photo shoots like this.

    What if a JSP-based social networking site is rewritten in PHP? This is what the friendster developers did when the JSP-based site ground to a halt under the load of millions of users.

    I use Lynx which has practucally no market share!

    It's also an order of magnitude faster than the bloated browsers like Opera, FF, and IE.

    When has abstraction ever been a strength of java? It has one fucking abstraction, and there are programmers out there who say that sun didn't even get that one right.
