I think the belief that birthday == celebration in each age group is represented with a bell shaped curve. Shit, when I'm 89, senile, and living in my own filth, my next birthday will be a celebration for me. That much more closer to escape!

No, we're supposed to be praising the genius who created the virus. Take note kids, write a big pain in the ass virus and it will be celebrated even a year after its release!

It's more like you INFERRED AT&T thinks it is acceptable to not follow the procedures the rest of the year.

To me it had the same purpose as all the Terror alerts the US gov't has given out: "Just a reminder, be especially alert during this period." It is not to say ignore all suspicious activity after this period.

I'll say... Once I got tired of everything in the scene I realized how much of my life I had wasted. After that I started to get decent amounts of sleep, got in shape, and actually started being interested in my studies. Ignoring my computer most of the time was the best thing to ever happen to me.

I sorta doubt that 8hrs was spent only compiling the win2k "kernel." Don't forget that the GUI, networking and a ton of other crap is built in. I'm sure compiling an entire linux system consisting of apps equivalent to those which are built into windows would take a hell of a lot of time too.

I have had similar experiences with exercise and weight loss as a 17 yr old, but most of our progress is fueled by our already naturally high metabolism and testosterone levels. I cut out soda, sugar, and a good deal of carbs, had multiple daily protein shakes, got a nice amount of EFA's and worked out like hell and gained 20 lbs of muscle while losing an immense amount of fat. But i'm sure i would not be able to do this in a few years.

I can't believe that baseball bats are seriously considered as a first use for the substance. You never even see titanium bats these days because of league regulations. Bats are expensive as it is.
