Since 1983 we live in a formal democracy more o less like the US. The military have seen their power fade to virtually nothing between 1986 and 1992 (more o less). The last militar dictatorship was a really bloody mess and ended with an unconceivable war against the UK because of the Malvinas conflict.

He told me about a couple things, the first one is that on the ozone hole time he was on Usuahia (the southernmost city) and see the skin reaction on the locals. He actually lives in Rosario, so the effect on his skin wasn't really considerably, but if we sum up the snow its really a problem.
Acording on the things I remember from the class room, he states that the northen "hole" was shrinking, and the southern doesn't, yet, but the tendences show a hopefull slow on the increase rate. BTW I've been living in Bariloche (Patagonia Argentina) for a couple years and the locals take a lot of care with the sun. The northernmost the hole goes was near Comodoro Rivadavia (according to what I remember) and Bariloche is far to the north. Now I live farther to the north (almost the same latitude that Uruguay) and my skin isn't a parameter, because no mather what I do I always get a sunburn (white like on the north part of Italy, almost pink;)

The only extended cuasi-implementation of communism was totalitarian; the capitalism implementations are totalitarian and some have implemented a limited democratic way. A real democratic way hasn't been implemented yet. But i would like to see on a real democracie wich economic system starts to rise
