>After all, workers (regardless of what profession) are partaking in the capitalist system.
workers exist in each and every economic system: communist, capitalist, socialist. workers do not necessarily partake in a capitalist system. (e.g. Cuba). Capitalism looks more and more like a religion than an economic system.
>This happens because of free labour. The question then is, is this good or bad?
Since we live under capitalism, we need to get a capitalist to answer this.
not necessarily. something can be completely against capitalism, yet be good. Most people don't care about capitalism, but DO care about good and bad (that doesn't mean they agree on what's good or bad though). keep capitalism out of it.
educate the children. tell them downloading music is legal in many countries. encourage them to download music they enjoy, and share it with their friends. In short, teach them that culture belongs to us all.
if you count atheism as a religion, there is some evidence of religious bias in US government. I wouldn't go so far as to call it persecution, but there's definately a problem with the separation of church and state in the US if the president calls a certain religion 'unamerican'.
strictly, this is not about unlicenced pharmacies. it's about pharmacies unlicenced in the US. they may (or may not..I havent looked into this much and havent done business with any. there will probably be bad and good ones) be totally legitimate.
what pact would that be? I'm really curious, since usually there is only an agreement between broadcaster and advertiser. there is no agreement between advertiser and the viewer.
which causes screams about wrong links the first day (you point to an article, but send them to an ad. This may be illegal in some countries.), and people leaving the 2nd day. it's simply misleading your own customers.
>You don't like web site blockers, why do you like partial-site blockers?
that's an easy one: I don't block and read on a site-by-site basis, I read based on content, and I block based on content. and there's certain content I don't want to see. Maybe you don't want to see porn, and I won't force you. why are some others trying to force me to see ads?
banner ads are the result of a contract between publishers (of a website) and marketeers. The deal is, just as in magazines, the publisher prints, and gets money. The consumer, who is ultimately inconvenienced by this, is not part of this process, and is in his fullest right to get rid of offensive content. No matter if this is porn, violence, propaganda or advertising.

>In a country with 'separation of power', a judge is independent of any politicians.
which is a problem if judges are appointed by politicians.
>Man... It will be a scary day indeed when things like that start happening on American soil...
until then, there's always Guantanamo Bay...
and they'll be sold in random packs of 3 dice. d6, d10 and d20 are common, d8 and d12 uncommon and d4 rare.

and the US has planned invasions on at least one ally.. with friends like that, who needs enemies?

ofcourse, just about the same argument can be made for good (as in good value for money vs. good guy) as for free (beer/speech).

(not much inspiration right now, so not a very coolsounding meme. but I think you get my drift..)
and that's beside the fact that a decent case around this this can't really hold a legible playlist written on it..
>Isn't that one of everyone's main goals in life - to earn money doing something they enjoy?
frankly... no. I want to do what I enjoy. Money doesn't come into it. Ofcourse, that's impossible... but it IS what many people want.
>what's stopping me and a friend from waiting until you park it, then picking it up and throwing it in the back of a truck while you're not around?
a great big fucking chain through the wheel and around or through a fixed object.
that's a software patent, so not valid for european viruswriters ;)
downloading from grokster or any other source is legal in many countries, and cannot be considered piracy.
yes, but they only talk the talk, not walk the walk.
now if they'd said this, and released a normal audio CD... THAT's the attitude we want.

bluetooth headphones.
ofcourse, being immoral, destructive and/or unneighbourly seems to be the norm in 'legitimate' business nowadays.
quite a lot. the space shuttle was bloody expensive, and hard to use safely. nice invention though.
