Seriously, it should use the Internet to get the time which is based on Atomic clocks. However, given the iPhone's difficulty in functioning as a phone, I would be wary of the "watch" function of this watch:).
Back when I had a company, I hired a marketing guy who used this magic math. He'd come up with a huge number for the total market size and then tell me that we could capture x% of the market. He also was big on "hockey stick" sales graphs which predicted exponential sales increases "real soon now". No clue on actually how to do that though... the guy was a psychopathic liar and nothing he ever said worked out.
I plan to die quickly (and cheaply) at an old age. Best way to do this is to stay away from doctors... kind of hard since I am a doctor but I don't, as a rule, give myself advice.
The politicians are the ones who passed the laws after some friendly bribes (campaign contributions) from the insurance industry. The politicians understand the situation perfectly.
All law firms have a formal process in place to make sure that they are not working for both sides in a law case. This can be difficult in large firms but they have to make sure that they are not conflicted. Even if the lawyers are working in different departments and on completely different areas of the law, they recuse themselves from one side of the case. There is no reason the same procedures and prohibitions (ethical) should not apply to judges (whether working or "retired").
The cost may be $1000 but the US health industry will charge you $10,000. Of course, then, since nobody knows what most of this means, it will lead to lots more overpriced testing and consultations. This is a good way to get lots of money out of patients with no benefit to the patient.
"Total platform power at its full 2GHz clock speed does appear to be higher than most of the current high-end competition..." Sound like it will be a power hog like previous Atoms.
I'm not sure that the "portal" concept is dead. I have an iGoogle portal page that I have open all of the time and I use it many times a day to check news, weather, RSS feeds, webcams to my local ski areas, stock prices, etc. It really is very useful to me. Now, as you probably know, Google has declared iGoogle to be dead meat and will discontinue the service later this year. I will then probably have to create something similar on my own or find another service. I have looked at the new Yahoo home page and it doesn't look like it will meet my needs at all. I am a old "get off my lawn" geezer so I may be atypical but I really find a portal page very useful even if Google doesn't think I need it.
My wife's Yahoo mail account started sending out odd links a few minutes ago. She doesn't have Twitter, Tumblr or Pinterest accounts. Are the problems more widespread?
Because it is an inverted pendulum. It may just look like a stick to you but if you invert it, you may be able to see that it is a pendulum (mass on a pole with a fixed attachment point).
Americans go on "medical vacations" because they can't afford US health care. Doctors, drugs, etc. are all cheaper anywhere else but the US and if you pick wisely, you can find better quality doctors and facilities.
I have my mussels do their own weight training. (I discovered that my weight training had no effect on my mussels.) I found these little weights and glued them to the shells... works great and gives me big fat mussels (delicious).
At the last place I had a real job, they had nice big 27" monitors and I would routinely see my colleagues running MS mail in full screen... most of their emails consisted on one long line of text spread across the entire width of the screen...
Medicine has always had this problem. It is a large complex field with constantly evolving "truths". Computers are much better than humans at considering all of the options. An early pioneer in this field, Larry Weed, used to say that a good clinician could come up with a 3 item list for a differential dx and an expert could come up with 6 items. However, the computer can come up with 20 along with a list of tests to perform to make the final dx. Computers have consistently been shown to perform better than humans for medical dx but the hubris of the medical profession prevents their adoption.
Saving seed for replanting is standard practice in most of the world. Only in "developed" countries do we have farmers who have been sold on the idea that they need to buy special "seed". In the latest case, the farmer bought grain from the elevator (knowing that it likely would be GMO) and planted it. The issue here is that now Monsanto is claiming ownership of the grain after the original farmer sold his crop to the grain elevator then the grain was bought by another farmer and planted.
I know it's coming soon but I still can't order one. The link you gave for the announcement on RaspberryPi.org for Newark/Element14 only says it's "available" but if you try to order one, there is no order page.

I probably doesn't do a very good job of actually keeping time, either.

Fairly rude comment but I'll respond.
I spoke only about my personal experience, not statistics.

I pay more for health insurance in one year than the total of my entire life's expenses for health services (and I am old).

Thanks for this information.
I'll take another look at My Yahoo as an alternative for iGoogle.

I think you missed the point.
I'm a geezer.

My Android Nexus One runs Skype which works over WiFi for phone calls... it's done this for years.
Is this what you had in mind?
They announced a $25 model about a year ago but you can't actually buy it yet. It may be available "real soon now".
It's actually $35.
The problem is not your keyboard.
