The sane aren't the problem. It's the cliche`spouting non-thinkers that are.
Although as one of the poor guys mentioned in the article, I would like to have at least a choice of ISPs in my extremely rural mountain town. ATT hasn't built ANYTHING out to here...
I'm new to app development, but WP7 is the most poorly documented (probably because it's new), ridiculously locked-down environment to code in I have yet suffered through. Things don't work that should due to intended security constraints, making it impossible to casually develop something in free time that might get made truly useful (read: monetized) later. Frustrating enough that I have decided to compete in the Android app space instead. It may be crowded, but at least I can do it.
I have two capture cards installed on my win98SE box...but I wouldn't try to use them at the same time...IDE bandwidth issues.
I haven't even tried to install even one in my Mandrake box, because I suspect it will take an eon or tow to make it work, and then Buffy will be off the air.
My local library (Oakland, CA) has e-books available one page at a time (irritating, but I have DSL, so the wait isn't very much) through someone or other...I used inter-library loan to get the paper copies.
Is Cleveland doing something different in that the WHOLE book is available at once? Is that it?
You, too?

Developer's head on a pike as a warning to others. The hint will be taken, I promise.
I have no karma to give, but thank you all the same for an informative post. Good luck.
Or use Kiwix without rooting...
Please?
Sure, Google. Why isn't my old Samsung i9520 updated? Hmmm? It's a Google store product...and only about five years old.

http://peltiercooler.blogspot.com/ details the attempt to use LINUX by a patient, non-IS guy.
It's pretty long, and has an unhappy ending.

Does anyone know whether record sales _dropped_ after the demise of Napster?
