I was just browsing the list of hospitals that you are able to donate to and found that there is a hospital in Toronto called "Hospital for Sick Children." Now call me pedantic if you must but wouldn't the fact that a child is in a Hospital indicate that chances were that the kid was indeed sick? Isn't it just a little redundant to say the Hospital is for Sick Kids?
Also this is a terribly unimaginative name! Who was the guy who though that up?
Logically thinking thats how you'd hope people would act, but you would be wrong.
When someone is presented with a large number of options, with no real objective way to quantify the difference between them, people often choose to go without rather then risk making the "wrong" choice.
Imagine going in to buy a dishwasher, assuming you don't trust what the salesman says and you have no ideas about what makes a good dishwasher, you are pretty much SOL when it comes to being able to tell the difference between what is a good one and what isn't. So what do you do? A lot of people decide to put off the purchase, even if they really do need a dishwasher.
I'm reasonably sure I read some research about this phenomena somewhere. Therefore I've pretty much proven that I am correct.
Perhaps because up until this point he has managed to live within his means and not need short term loans to survive. In addition he has manged to save up enough money for a deposit for a house, despite having less money available to him.
Well its not like you can only apply the power gradually like a petrol engine. My understanding is that when you turn an electric engine on, that's it, full power full torque.
Of course block lists need to be updating. If there weren't every ad provider would eventually change to cats.* servers and your block list would stop working. As soon as Opera gets something even close to Adblock plus I'll be switching, but until that happens I simply get a better experience on the web when I'm using Firefox.
I can't believe unlocking an iPhone causes such a stir. GSM phones are unlocked every day through mysterious hacks and the iPhone is no different. What is the big deal?
Actually if memory serves an American Green Beret by the name of John James Rambo fought with the Taliban in Afghanistan in 1988. With his Green Beret training plus his mad Afghan fighting skills he is unstoppable.
Oh I don't know, the fact it has a dickhead tray icon just sitting there taking up space?
Or the fact that to use iTunes you have to install it?
And hey while were installing Quicktime player why not install Quicktime picture viewer. Why in hell would I need a picture viewer? Windows XP already has a perfectly good one.
Plus the tens of thousands of "PRO" menu options that you can't get rid of unless you are going to pay for them.
I'll give you a hint if there is a "Alternative" codec out for a player it means the player sucks./rant off.

Exactly, I fully believe that one could create a very successful company based solely on continuing production of the shows Fox cancels.
ls:
Well you must be using a different adblock to the one I'm using because I've never seen an ad on facebook.
And what is wrong with that? Everyone wins!
You see! This is what happens when you arseholes talk about Usenet!
We warned you about the first rule of Usenet! But no, you guys just didn't listen.
Now look what you did.
I can just imagine the police photo doctor if that was the case:
"And so we just un-twirl the image and...."
"What is it?"
"Damn, Rickrolled again!"
Furthermore once the biological hurdle is overcome would it then be possible graft some sort of "Freaking Laser" to the shark/human hybrid?

Please someone correct me if I'm wrong.
Come on, name one benefit that packet shaping can bring. In all serious I can't think of a single example where it would be acceptable.
If an ISP needs to shape packets they've over sold their service, and that is their problem. Not ours.
Couldn't care less!

Yes, if there was only some way to place this headband around each leg...
Is this billion dollar loss calculated the same way mp3 downloading costs are?
Hold on, wouldn't you need an even number to denote symmetry?
You see, Its these kind of computing professionals that make me feel like a fraud when people call me a computer genius.
Stop raising the bar you tool!

That thing is fast.
I think the artical is just worded poorly. I belive they mean the he was looking at images of Asian women and children in the same pictures.
Stop Posting youtube links!

Isn't this just a walkthrough for Harvest Moon?

You could always send it registered post to yourself and leave it unopened.
