  1. Great Weapon on US Satellites Dodging Chinese Missile Debris · · Score: 4, Informative

This is probably the best "Denial" type weapon developed. In the case of the chinese, if there was ever a major threat to thier sovereignty they could make the whole orbit plane into a huge denial zone, crippling the more advanced nation that relies on that area, while giving themselves the advatage of using an army that hasn't learned to rely on satellites. the whole mentality of "if we can't have it, neither can you" works very well in warfare. Scorched earth... just taken to the next level.

  2. Re:Congratulations! You've Won! on BioWare Hiring Writers by Contest · · Score: 1

Actually this should be insightful! I have heard Bioware have a tough time keeping employees for a few reasons:

    1) Edmonton flouts its good weather in how many "frost free" days it has, due to it being the most northern MAJOR city in north america.
    2) Out in the middle of the plains, about 3.5 hours drive to anything interesting (rocky mountains)
    3) very short summer, long cold winters
    4) Not exactly a hub of art of entertainment that vancouver or Toronto or Montreal is.

Having said that I have heard Bioware treats its employees very well and tries its best to keep them happy. And the Living cost is the cheapest in the country.

after 2004, the 754-pin sockets will make way for their new 939-pin sockets. AMD has said that they will continue upgrades for 754-pin 64-bit chips up to i think 3700+ After that you will need to buy a 939 pin motherboards. Though I wonder what the shelf life for the 754 pins are, since not that many programs can even make use of 64bit cpus yet.

  9. Video Game and story on Review: Matrix: Reloaded · · Score: 1

What people are missing is that quite a bit of the storyline can be seen in the Video Game... the game is pretty much a 3rd movie. It picks up from the Final Flight of the Osiris and follows the 2nd movie with a different cast.
