There is always going to be a new, better technology if you just wait a few minutes, but they have to pick something at sometime. If you wait because there was something better around the corner you would wait forever.
Hey, I am married... so........, maybe you are right....:)
It is about how the commercials are done, there is no tact what so ever, they just throw them up there for the sake of throwing them up there. If I want to look at nearly naked or naked women, I can do a lot better than their commercials or web site.
I like scantily clad women as much as the next guy, but the Go Daddy commercials are the worst commercials I have ever seen, regardless of how many bimbos they put in them. I was very disappointed in Danica Patrick for selling out to them. She completely lost all respect she had earned as the best or most prominent female Indy/Nascar driver (for the most part, I don't watch Car racing). But more to the point, the commercials are so blatantly, "we must be great, we show bimbos on TV". Hopefully they will go way with new ownership.
I have been using Ubuntu since 6.04, and really like it. However usually when I try to upgrade from 1 version to the next it crashes and I end up just installing the new version from scratch. Hope it is different this time.
The differences in velocity are generally too great. It would be like trying to stop a shotgun blast with a single layer of packing tape. If you're lucky, a tiny speck of the tape might stick to a few of the pellets as they shred the strip and continue on their way.
No I didn't RTFA, but as a blanket statement, I don't buy time travel (into the past anyway) under any circumstance. Into the future is a matter of semantics, Fry didn't time travel, he was frozen for 1000 years, and neither did the Astronauts from planet of the apes, they essentially just lived along time (I understand and believe what happens when you travel close to the speed of light). In both those cases they never left their timeline. To travel into the past it assumes there is a past to travel to. I exist hear and now, the time when I was six has come and gone and I don't believe I am still six somewhere. Not only would there have to be a past timeline where I was six, but 7 and 8 and 6.24 and 6.0000000000000001 etc.
The other thing I would point out (although not as strong of argument against it) is that if at any time in the future, someone invented time travel, you would know it because people would be coming back to visit us. Now matter how many rules/regs they create in the future to prevent it, there will still be rogue elements that would come back and let there presence be known.
Every World Cup tournament is preceded by World Cup qualifying matches in which every country meeting FIFA criteria (which is pretty much every country) participates. That's why it's called the World Cup.
You obviously know to much about soccer to be American.
Slavery had great approval ratings for a long time. I take it you supported that, as well?
No, I support people who are here illegally being sent back home so they can get legitimately. There is absolutely no correlation with slavery. Why do people have a problem with punishing people for breaking the law. Try to sneak into Mexico and see how you are treated, you will probably end up dead.
I am aware of the "Aurora", but it hasn't been talked about much in the last 10+ years. If it ever did exist, it seams to have been mothballed or something. It actually made a bit of sense that they started using the SR-71 more about the time people stopped seeing the Aurora's "donut on a rope" contrail.
I think he is pointing out that if you can separate yourself from your brainwashed beliefs, most intelligent humans would see how ridiculous religion is.

Just FYI, I could be used for snu-snu
Sadly, they have NOT seen indications of a NEW infant universe.
I don't know about you, but I am OK with a new universe not starting anywhere near me. I think it would get rather crowded really fast.
I submit that you do not.

That is correct, forgot they weren't always .4 or .10. I looked back and my first disc is labeled 6.06.

Sounds like a new Myth Busters episode...

So are you the spell check police? You'll spend your whole life here.

For a hwile now I have been noticing my forum posts being indexed within hours of making the post. It's been doing this for a couple years I think.
My only disappointment is that he used "special pieces." At least, I think a felt-tip and a rubber-band count as those
Actually a good portion of that printer is made with K'nex. The roller wheels and axle being the most prominent.
How is the law racist? If you are here ILLEGALLY you have done something ILLEGAL and should be punished for it. Moron.
Why on earth would you not count hispanics?
Because in Arizona, the vast majority of illegals are Hispanics. Obviously they aren't going to vote against themselves, they skew the results.

"Arizona Lawmakers"
Nation wide ~65% approval rating for Arizona law, 70+% approval not counting Hispanics.
Smell-o-Vision, here we come...

Does anyone else think it is odd that the fastest plane in the world is still the SR-71, which came into service in 1964.

Islam is Christianity w/o a sense of humor.
You have more respect for people who succumb to brain washing and have diminished ability to think for themselves?
Always been wondering what those Swiss are doing under those mountains.
This is just a ploy, a cover, for there ultimate goal.
