Those computers with palladium will all have a way to turn the thing off. When turned off they would be just like any non-palladium machine and just like other non-palladium machines they won't be able to view palladium content without the hacker intervention.
IT's about teaching them to fish rather then giving them a fish for one day. If they slowly become a more skilled labor force they will produce more and will have more economical resources for themselves. (I'm not talking about india as a whole but each individual who belongs to the more poor and unskilled labor force).
I mean if you were producing only $2-$3 dollars worth of stuff daily could you expect to get medical facilities and clean drinking water (if you aren't living by a major clean water source that is)if not for charity?
If we don't educate the public then we'll be providing charity and not truly help them live as men for a long time. Besides it's good to see more priviledged Indian's helping the less priviledged.
I dunno about you but i absolutely hate shopping for computers (and don't do so anymore) at normal places like compusa, circuit city, and other mainstream computer/electronics places. I personally can't stand the teeny boxes, the super shitty components with amd systems, and the preloaded software.
Pricegrabber.com, or pricewatch.com, will get you excellent prices on components. I haven't a bought a new computer for my self for years. Just upgrading certain parts as they get ancient (that includes my case as well).
I don't know where you came from but here in a post 9/11 America you can't speak against our President. Doing so makes you not only an unamerican, unpatriotic, bastard but it also makes you a terrorist.
Well, guess what... windows 9x took a lot more coding then dos. Yes, they may overcharge but there is a great bit of difference between coming from dos and compiling lots of bits of free software and selling them in a package with support.
But RH makes a free downloadable full featured version (or else they wouldn't be able to use OSS software but thats another point) so it's all good with linux:), but thats not the point... .
Now, speaking to the coward...
I don't use after effects or photoshop that much. The only reason they were mentioned is because I saw how they compared by some credible benchmarks. It's hard to find good benchmarks between apple systems and pc's... At least it is for me, i use both macs and pc's but i mostly go to pc hardware sites.
Unfortunately the other site with benchmarks that i checked out was from apple.com. Which was a heavily skewed in their favor. The latest dual g4's versus p4's with non ddr SDR! The g4's ofcourse got ddr ram...
Also, I wasn't trying to give sage advice... Just trying to prevent people from overating the mac. Which happens too much nowadays. Making fun of someone's knowledge based on just one typo is pretty sad. especially by coward.
Last time i checked a dual g4 1.25 ghz system was below that of a p3 3.06+hyperthreading in graphics benchmarks (adobo after effects + photoshop). (the dual g4 system also cost $1k more).
It may still be ahead in gflops... I'm not into cpu's enough to answer that but i do doubt that. In any case mac's are for graphics people so that should be a real blow.
But I'll bet dual 2.4 ghz xeons will kick the 1.25 ghz system's ass in terms of gflops. Plus there only like $650 each so the mobo + processors won't cost more then $1400.
The votes of a small portion of our society is useless to most politicians... Here's a better formula for the bigger politicians.
1)Kiss Corporate America's Ass 2)Collect Donations from Corporate America 3)Campaign with money 4)Capture the masses 5)Profit!!!!!!! or in this case get elected!!!
Unless INS had a record of every thought of every individual person in the world it couldn't really do anything. Most of these terrorists had no previous record, the ones that do aren't stupid enough to come here (I'm not calling them smart either, they are plenty stupid as well).
Your talking about sheer quantity of programs, unless you are actively running all of them at one time (as in actually doing something in that program) then the CPU might come into the equation, but in any case you can only adjust 1 photoshop doc at a time even if you have 50 open.
What your talking about is dependent on ram more then anything!
Um... it's probably your graphics chipset/card thats causing you problems with the psx emulator. Your processor is more then fine....
Also I don't buy that just works crap... thats = true with the pc if you buy the correct hardware. It doesn't happen with most of the hardware I buy because of the flexibility associated with it. If you buy mainstream hardware and run a fairly current version of windows (XP) then it's usually a non-issue.
I wanna see you plug and play some obscure hardware that you find for pc's on mac, that'll be the day.
Alot of windows gripes seem to be related to older versions of windows, btw.
Your router will be fine... it just won't work for the duration of teh ddos attack because it'll be overloaded. But most home routers don't have anything that will overheat.
Hubs don't get their own ip address... all they do is provide extra ports and repeat signals to increase signal strength.

Apple isn't the one actually manufacturing the LCD's themeselves... They may assemle some parts of it and are supporting it greatly however the actual manufacturers for apple are Samsung, LG Philips, and another company(possibly NEC).
If your a mp3 pirate, you can download ten songs per minute rather then 1 song per 5 minutes.
Also the speed difference between while loading web pages is huge. So the WEB is far more enjoyable when your not waiting forever for pages to download.
Of course if you want to be limited to text communication using transliteration then it's fine.
For one thing Light isn't moving in a straight line in fiber optic cable so the speed of light is considerably slower when moving from one place to another.
Also the ping utility would be terribly innacurate for someting like this. It would also involve delays in processing at each computer, the slightest delay would be extremely harmful for something like this.
I meant 1/3rd slower... I am looking at those benchmarks.. The one's on that page are around 10% slower butI definately remember something from the 30% range somewhere...
Um no... the faster memory is only required if the graphics card's onboard memory is used up. With modern graphics card's using 64 mb and 128 mb you really don't need that much.
But the integrated graphics cores are still slower because the system ram is usually slower then the onboard memory on a graphics card and shared by the other components.
My god what are you talking about??? This mobo kicks all other amd mobos asses easily. Don't take my word for it check out hardware reviews in different sites.
ALL nforce2 and nforce mobos come with an agp slot. But not all of them have igp's... For a non-rich gamer you can forego the igp and get a separate graphics card. The rich gamer can have both the igp for backup and a separate high performance graphics card in the agp slot.

That means we're going to produce more. At least thats what I think it means... It's been a reallly long time since econ.

SGI was working on Linux (as in modifying the linux kernel and some other software components) for something like this.
Can you give me one good reason why Linux will not be a good supercomputer?

We (muslims) can't eat them in normal cases... But if we are deprived of food in a certain situation and we are about to die then we can eat pig.
Surgery shouldn't be a problem.
At least one of my teachers have already payed for jaguar to upgrade from os 10.1 to 10.2.
G3's and OS X is a pretty bad mix... It's like windows 98 of a pentium 100 mhz machine...
This will be useful for all the G4 Towers in our school.

There is that can be cracked in those games. It's all in hardware my friend. :)

My god... in many cases a geforce 2 outperforms a geforce 4 mx series. A geforce 3 ti has far more power then a geforce 4 mx.
